"There is a permanent homeless outside of the complex : While management can’t control what happens outside the property, they CAN control what happens within the property. Why haven’t you cited the owner of the Southwinds RV # 6CVD179 and Chevy Van # 7ATK430 for trespassing?? They come and go into the complex on a regular basis. And have done so for years now. They attract other people to this area who also freely roam through the complex. You can see other vehicles parked in back of their RV or on the adjacent side on a regular basis. Why don’t you secure the entrances to the complex? Nothing has been done to address safety concerns that occur as a result of not having locked gates to prevent homeless from coming into the complex. So again, what are you doing? There are so many irresponsible dog owners in this complex; most of them I am sure aren't even paying "pet rent" (which is bogus considering the wear and tear of the units). Dog poop is everywhere and lease conditions are never enforced. I am tired of constantly stepping in dog poop while being a responsible pet owner and cleaning up after my own dog. START ENFORCING THE LEASE CONDITIONS; its a health issue and its is disgusting to allow people to do this without penalty. Not to mention that the policy states a maximum weight of 25 pounds. What a joke - there are so many large and aggressive dogs in this complex. This place also used to require 3x income to rent...that clearly isn't the case anymore and now all I see are Section 8 types who are moving in. Also the garbage areas where it’s impossible to recycle anymore. Why are we paying for a service we can’t use? Do better River Pointe management and start enforcing lease conditions and protecting tenants safety."
"When I first applied, I informed the leasing agent that I have a child with special needs/behavior problems. They chose to put me in a unit above a bitter, elderly man. This man calls the office/security on me at least 2-3 times per week complaining about my (Autistic) 3 year old making too much noise. This man has come to my door on several occasions and yelled and screamed at me (made me cry) because my kid is being too loud. I reported this to the office and nothing was done about it. I told the manager that I’m doing everything I can to keep my child quiet(er). However, it’s been very difficult. I’ve only been here 3 months and they are now in the process of evicting me because of the constant noise complaints. I feel that this is very UNFAIR. I’m doing everything I can to keep my kid under control. The manager mentioned that she “doesn’t really know what Autism is” which explains why she’s so insensitive about this matter and want us out! Is this even legal?"
"I wish I can give this place 0 stars! Upon move in we were told the previous tenants decided to stay and so we found a new unit. It looked decent with finding only dead ants in the kitchen cabinets. On top of the cabinets are also filled with hundreds of dead ants and they are still there since whoever "cleaned" up left them there. The place has multiple holes and cracks throughout the house. The washer had flooded the kitchen area. They had to come out 3 times to fix it. The dishwasher flooded the kitchen as well. My biggest concern is the ant problem that I've been dealing with since a month after move in! I've thrown so much stuff away due to them. They were even crawling on my son and I cried so bad. The pest control does not do anything! I've asked to be switched to a different unit and did not receive an answer. I have never had ants in my house until I moved here! According to one of the maintenance guys "everyone has ants". I refuse to raise my son in these unlivable conditions"
"Definitely a downgrade from my last place. Don’t move here! When you first apply, they will show you a model apartment and not the actual unit that you will be living in. Once I moved in, there were several repairs that needed to be done. Broken washer, garbage disposal not working, broken toilet seats, large rip in my patio screen. The carpet was not clean. I had to deep clean the carpet myself, which slowed the moving process. The day I moved in, the property manager put in a work order for the repairs. I’ve been here for over 2 weeks now and maintenance still hasn’t showed up. They rarely answer the phone nor respond to emails. I even made an appointment with a date and time that the maintenance would make the repairs, again they never showed up. The appliances are outdated. Terrible paint job. I feel misled because the ‘model’ unit did not have these issues. There’s litter throughout the complex. Some of the tenants don’t clean up after their pet. Ants and spiders everywhere. The pools are dirty. The spas are broken. The walls are thin. My parking spot is far away from my unit. I am very unsatisfied with my apartment as well as management. I definitely won’t be renewing my lease. If you’re looking for a place in the area, I highly recommend The Woodlands!"
