"Car thefts are common here. They say they have a security guard. All he does is stay parked in the front of the office and sleeps later on into his shift. Really dislike the way that the front office responds to car breaks and other matters. They simply do not care. It is quite evident to see just how many people they lose every year. Simply not a safe place to live at."
"Harvest Glen is absolutely one of the best places to live. There’s a great onsite management team whose professionalism by far tops most that I’ve seen. Let’s not forget to mention the maintenance crew who works around the clock to upkeep the property and to fulfill any maintenance requests one may have in their specific unit. Peace of mind in a not so peaceful world means to reside at Harvest Glen Community!"
"I currently live here and I’m barley on month 2 of my 12 month lease. I have so many complaints about this place but my biggest is the false advertisement. This apartment is advertised as pet friendly and unfortunately for my dog that was a lie. Upon signing my lease I was told by the assistant manager that construction would soon begin on the balcony of my apartment. I was told it would only be 3 weeks until the construction was completed. Being told it would only be 3 weeks I paid to have my dog boarded. It is now week 11!! 11weeks in and my balcony is still not completely and not even close. When I ask the front desks for updates they play dumb and give me no answers. About a month ago the manager finally told me that they will close off the opening of my balcony so my dog can be in it in two days. A whole month passed after that and still it’s not closed off for my dog. There is currently a nationwide disease infecting dogs and killing them. Seeing the news report on this and vets urging to isolate dogs I can’t do this because the balcony is not complete and my dog only uses the bathroom outside. The apartment complex is filled with rabid cats that can also hold and carry this virus. The dog park is disgusting and filled with dog poop. I have no choice but to walk my dog amongst the complex that is filled with these cats and that other dogs come in contact with. I went to the front desk to basically beg to have them close off my balcony to have my dog in because I am in fear for his life. He is my emotional support dog and by doctor’s orders need him and I love him like my kid. The front desk did nothing when I was practically begging them to close off my balcony and were more concerned about decorating their offices. I can’t even buy the wood to do it myself. Please don’t come here if you have a pet and care about their well being. I’ve had stone tiles fall from the roof barely missing my head, been yelled at by dumpster divers while I’m simply trying to throw away my trash in the morning, there is so many things wrong with this place but it’s my fault for not reading the reviews ahead of time. My only fear is my dog will have to pay the price of my stupid mistake. I am writing this to warn anyone potentially thinking of renting here."
"I been a tenant for five years and maintenance is the only highlight of the property. The office manager Albert is nice but not helpful. They don’t answer the phone but can close the office for lunch when it’s three employees working. The girls in office are rude and not helpful. They have too many cats on property with some of them looking really sick. Residents still don’t clean up after their dogs. They have pest control come out weekly but I needed to buy a shower drain to keep the roaches (only one at a time, but happened three times) from coming up the drain. Parking is horrible; called on a Monday to ask for a visitor pass but they said I can only get it biweekly and that for all the residents. But that isn’t true because one resident gives his parking pass to his girlfriend and he gets a pass every week. The visitor parking was available Monday to Friday and that’s all I needed it for. Parking is horrible with construction going on, no where to park. And they don’t care because it’s not their problem. Too many times they come to work on my balcony without notifying 24hr in advance. Not to mention my car has been broken into multiple times and vandalized. Sadly, we have a security. But the question is why. All he does is sleep all day. They tow cars if you’re parked in your own spot. On a regular night the tow company is going around with flashlights and looking into everyone’s car. Which is invasion of one’s privacy. Sometimes the trash overflows the designated area. A good place for a roof over your head but it’s not a home. The photos below are cars that belong to one apartment who never have to get a visitor pass because their roommate works in the office. the pass belongs to an employee/resident who writes his own pass to assure he has parking weekly. Not subjected to the policy of biweekly parking. And the empty stall when I ask if I can have a pass and they said no…but no one has been parking there."
"The front of the property is always dirty with trash and around the laundry room all the time. There seems to be plenty of staff but no one is cleaning it up. Part in apts are left half broke. They lie about the tow truck not towing during the day. They have someone hiding out to call the tow truck if you park close to your apartment for 15 minutes to unload, which I think is wicked, I literally changed my shoes that were hurting and used the toilet and when I came back out the truck was gone, I didn’t even get to finish unloading. I was told by two different staff the Tow truck doesn’t tow during the day. And I never see them drive by to check like they should, while being hours outside. Someone calls them to make a few bucks of people who actually work. This is them right now parked in the handicap."
