Maple Hill Apartments

"I've been a resident at Maple Hill Apartments for over a year now, and I recently renewed my lease for another year. Overall, my experience has been positive, with a few minor drawbacks. One of the highlights for me is the absence of roach problems mentioned here, although I understand this can vary depending on individual tenants. The fact that they offer free weekly pest control from Orkin is a nice bonus, even though I haven't needed to utilize it myself. On the downside, the lack of guest parking is definitely a downside, and the active towing of cars on weekends without passes can be frustrating. However, whenever I've had maintenance issues, the staff has been quick to respond and resolve them, which I appreciate. In terms of safety, I've felt relatively comfortable walking around the building at night, thanks to relatively quiet neighbors and a generally secure environment. One area for improvement would be the laundry service provider. The company they contract with is subpar when it comes to customer communication, and I hope they consider switching to a more reliable provider in the future. Overall, Maple Hill Apartments has been a decent place to call home, with its positives outweighing the negatives."

"Hello I have the best experience ever. The office staff and maintenance are good with the tenants. I have been here since September and never any problems. My move in was not expensive, which is what I was worried about. I come home to good vibes every night."

"There is no guest parking and there seems to be a predatory relationship with the towing company poaching the lot for cars. It’s unfortunate because it can create a destructive cycle of poverty. The surrounding streets always have damaged vehicles lining the roads ai felt uncomfortable asking my friends or family to park outside the complex. I wish they would put time into figuring out a solution. It would show they care about their residents and their safety. We should be able to have some form of guest parking."

"Way over priced for amenities and area . Gang writing all over outside . Dog poop in all grass areas . Gates left open and closed randomly . No parking for guest . Manager calls tow truck to tow tenants at her discretion. No hot water in shower . Hot water in sink will burn you or child ! Plumbing issues and homeless frequently digging in trash and walking parking lot . Maintenance unprofessional and un reliable . High police activity in area . Trash areas constantly overflowing. One day was blocked off and had to speak with police to be let inside ! Possible shots fired heard on several occasions around area . Garbage disposal smells due to bad pluming and old disposers. Small laundry room with old machines and leaking . My 1st apartment coming from house , not good experience. Please do research before choosing I’m sure you can find better price and location."

"I've lived here for about 4 months and in that time, they've done construction in the upstairs apartments surrounding my unit around 3 times without notice. As someone who works long overnight shifts, I don't appreciate being woken up after two hours of sleep. They could at least give notice to surrounding units so those of us who have to sleep during the day can find somewhere else to sleep. Also have issues where the water will be boiling hot, even if you turn the cold water on and while showering the water temp will change about every 30 seconds, so it's a game of hoping you get out from under the water before it burns too bad. They had maintenance look at it but haven't done anything about it. I spend nearly my entire paycheck to live here, I wish it would at least be a more pleasant stay.Exit gate is also almost always broken, letting in homeless and solicitors. What's the point in making us pay for a "gated community" if anyone can just walk in? EDIT: I've once again been woken up after two hours of sleep by construction so loud my walls shake. I can understand weekdays, but on a saturday??? 2. along me to contact them about my review and then not bothering to respond. very professional."
