"Casa Ciento? More like Caca Ciento! Thick coats of paint! Hard to open drawers or cupboards! They even paint over staples lol Management constantly changes rules as they go! I noticed they covered up their dropbox, forcing you to pay rent in person, yet when rent is due, they close the office early! They thought I didn't notice that, but I did! The maintenance man even said the property management is crooked! Trust me! So many people moved out while I lived there and when I moved out, there was about 10 empty units! One of them sitting empty for over a year! There's a reason! Google Arnel Property Management! Do your homework!"
"I would give no stars to this place if possible. The on-site manager and leasing agent are great but the actual company ARNEL is terrible and I would not rent from them. They do not help their residents and they pick and choose what parts of their lease to honor. My car was broken into and I requested a parking pass to park in the gated area since my lease states I can have a parking pass, ARNEL community liaison Madeline refused even after there was almost $800 in damage to my vehicle. I don’t have a second vehicle so I am not eligible to have the parking pass. I would NOT RENT HERE and as soon as I can move out, I will."
"Pros: Nice location: Next to various shopping and grocery stores including Walmart, Sprouts, Trader Joe's, Chipotle, and a few other restaurants and stores. There is an Arco gas station very near which is convenient. Additionally, there is a car shop called Brad's Valero which is walking distance and very reputable. There are plenty of extra parking spaces for guests. In the year i lived in the complex, the parking lot was never fully occupied. Cons: When i moved in a year ago (2018) they claimed they were getting debit card dryer/washer machines. The current system a person had to pay $10 for a card - and the machine to load money only accepted $10 or $20 bills. I can attest to multiple occasions where the machine to load money was broken (days at a time) and i was not able to do laundry. The apartment complex did not install the debit card dryer/washers until i moved out in mid March 2019 1 year later. Casa Ciento is directly next to a "run down" apartment complex. The apartment complex is very unkept. I was driving home on one occasion and waiting for the gate to open when i witnessed a fist fight break out between 2 grown men and what appeared to be a woman carrying a small child. An anecdote, but something to be mindful of. I requested a parking pass for my girlfriend's car when i first moved in. I had to remind the managers on multiple occasions to submit the request. I didn't receive the parking pass until weeks after i moved in. It seemed as though no urgency was placed on requests. *I am rating the complex a 1 star for the following reasons: Casa Ciento has multiple lawsuits/small claims against them regarding deposits over the last 2 decades specifically in 2001 and 2016. Arnel properties was sued by the Orange County Attorney General for $1.5 million dollars, alleging that Arnel illegally withheld apartment security deposits (please see attached photo). I moved out in mid March, having given my notice the end of February to a manager filling in, while the regular manager was out of the office. I understood and accepted i would be paying the entire month of rent for March having given the notice at the end of February (I had to relocate for another job quickly with short notice across the US). I even returned the following day (still in February) for a second manager filling in to let them know of the notice of move out. They claim i gave my notice beginning of March. I paid the entire March rent in full (moved out mid March) and they additionally took out $236 of the deposit for 4 days in April, and they claimed i didn't give the notice until March 4th. I have reached out directly to Casa Ciento and the Corporate office (Arnel properties) regarding the issue with the deposit with no resolution. It is evident they do not take the concerns and problems of the renters seriously. Based on on the above statements i cannot recommend anyone renting off this property. Please see attached photo regarding lawsuits and small claims from Attorney General. Anyone considering renting from Casa Ciento or any apartment complex under Arnel properties should be made aware."
"Don't RENT here...Worst property management, they lie and deceive people with wrong information. My apartment was broken into and nothing was done by the leasing office to make me feel comfortable after I requested a different apartment. At the end of my lease I was mislead by Brenda to believe there was going to be a fee of $3000 if I didn't renew the lease. After telling her I was going to turn in my keys. Called the management company to inform them about the misleading information and nothing was done. STAY AWAY go somewhere that cares about their paying customers and not there bonuses."
"Stay away from this place!!! For expensive rent, you get no respect and comfort here, my car was towed from my assigned carport because it hadn't been moved in 72 hours, can you believe that? and they say well if cars are not moved for 96 hours they can be towed, still ridiculous, what if people go on vacation?! and I had to come home see my car is gone without any notice I am pregnant, getting through all the stress thinking that my car was stolen, finally police tells me what has happened, all the hassle and paying $244 to get my car out of the tow yard, and no one is responsible yet, they, Casa Ciento apartments management, say you know towing company told us not to even talk to you!!!!! Now that I'm writing this review is Sunday 10:06 PM and ford dealership beside is playing a loud music on their pager, and paging their staff constantly and it will go on all the night, I have called the ford and leasing office nothing has worked, this place is unbelievable. I read reviews and complains on yelp and here before moving to this place but I was already committed still I wish I had cancelled the contract however I could."
