"To get straight to the point, my stay at Broadway Royale was very pleasant. Thanks to Mayra, their property manager, I was able to live comfortably and safely for little over 1yr and 3 months. The absolute pros of this place is definitely its price. They are very reasonable with what they are offering for the price (Trust me, ive seen so many apartments that costs a lot more but sucks). The floor plan is very spacious and mine also came with a patio in front which was really nice. Secondly Mayra is really responsive. She lives in the same neighborhood so she is always here for the residents whenever they need anything, and she is very reasonable. She will try her best to accommodate to your request. Lastly, the location of this place is very convenient. Freeways (91 and 5) is very accessible and there are malls and other fast food restaurants in a walking distance. I don’t have too much cons honestly. But if I have to be picky, I would say parking is pretty hard if you have more people living with you. There just are limited parking spaces on the main street (Catalpa). I lived alone so I had no issue since I had my own car port/garage (which comes with the rent), but for those of you living with others, parking could be a challenge. With all this being said, my experience at this place was absolutely positive and I’d recommend this apartment to anyone who are looking for a reasonably priced, conveniently located, and closely managed apartment!"

"Lived at these apartment for years, it has gone from okay to awful. First & foremost this area has horrible parking! They only allow you 1 spot per apartment. Trust me you will never have any visitors because of how bad the parking situation is. Most tenants that have the chance to save parking on Catalpa street by parking like jerks, if you don’t find parking on this street you are forced to park 4 blocks over on the main street La Palma since most of the residential area is blocked for permit only. I’ve had both mine & husbands car broken into twice while it was parked in our carport! Sad to say I’ve also witnessed the aftermath’s of neighbors cars being broken into as well. Management could care less! Our old manager was actually decent and approachable until a year ago she was replaced by the evil Carmen lady who really isn’t a people person. I’ve always said I only speak English however she’s insisted on leaving voicemails speaking Spanish, even when I return her call and speak only English I still get responses in Spanish VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I’ve heard horror stories of her treatment to neighbors as well, such as her harassment or negligence. The maintenance staff of a joke of about 2 or 3 older perverted men who again only speak Spanish. They are very rude and give you a bad feeling if they ever have to enter your home. I never feel comfortable knowing that these kind of men have keys to my apartment. The layout of these apartments is just ridiculous, if you are living below someone it is the absolute worse! The walls are paper thin! They have it set up so the bottom units bedroom is underneath the living room and kitchen of the top unit, so if you’re like me and get lucky to live under night owls good luck sleeping! Also, their bathroom is above our living room so the leaks in our ceiling are disgusting! They still have popcorn ceilings which contain asbestos! The rent is ridiculous! They have recently done “renovations” which consist of replacing outdated ugly carpet with ugly grey laminate wood flooring, painting the walls, replacing outdated roach infested ovens, & replacing closet doors.. all of this means they get to raise the rent about $300 more, it is still not worth it! The bathrooms have no ceiling vents so mold appears quick! The plumbing is awful, showers are backed up. Window panes get filled with mold when it rains! Roaches & termite problems! Do NOT RENT HERE! You will regret it!!"
