"Location, location, location! This hotel is directly across the street from the Disneyland parks. There are plenty of restaurants steps away. The beds and pillows are comfortable, there is a mini fridge in the room, and the rooms are fairly quiet. There is no restaurant or continental breakfast on-site, but they do offer a large room with tables, microwaves, and toasters for guests to use. We used this each morning of our stay. There's a little arcade and a gym next to this eating area. I only encountered one rude staff member, which is a win for me, although he was quite a doozy. Everyone else was great. I interacted with multiple people at entry, valet, check-in, and housekeeping. Valet was fast. The con: I moved a bed about 3 inches to make room for a crib, and there was piles of old food, dust, and debris there. They could do a better job cleaning the floors. All said, I would choose this hotel again and recommend it to everyone for a Disney trip."
"Fantastic, easy location right across the street from Disneyland. Easily walkable in 10 minutes or less. There has been a recent renovation but you can still feel that the building itself is a bit old. It’s also still very loud loud and noisy. You can hear the water draining from other floors and the sounds from people in adjacent rooms. You can also tell that it’s an older hotel because there’s no fan in the bathroom so it gets a little steamy back there.can’t beat the location and I will probably still stay here again for the value."
"Is this the best hotel you've ever stayed in? Nope. But that's not why you picked it. You picked it because it's across the street from Disneyland. The staff is enthusiastic and friendly. The rooms were clean enough (ignoring the tufts of black hair in the bathroom). Walls are paper thin and you can hear folks breathing as they walk by. It also has a motor inn style layout... doors open to the outside instead of interior hallways. Windows don't open and just face the exterior walkways, so keep the blinds shut unless you like passersby being able to look in your room clearly. No outlets next to the sides of rooms with 2 queen beds. Just outlets at the lamp between the beds. That's just not acceptable anymore; we all have cell phones that need a charge at night. It's fine for a trip to Disney as you're only going to be here to crash and sleep. Otherwise it's a pass. Also re: the hair in the bathroom. I don't blame the custodial staff. That's a big hotel chain overworking and underpaying the staff."
"Loved our stay at this Marriott, room was clean, bed was so comfy, distance from parks was fairly close. Our room was cleaned each day, and our sheets changed every day, and that was a plus, thank you . Having kids that jump on beds with shoes or even dirty socks, we went out of our way to show appreciation to our cleaning person because not all cleaning personnel go above and beyond the way ours did.. and we slept comfortably each and every night, you don't hear the floor above you at all, not like other hotels, so that's a huge plus!!! The only downside.. The fridge.. It froze everything!! No matter what setting! But I won't take a star off I overlooked it with all the plusses the hotel had .. Nice hotel staff, easy check in and check out .."
"This was tough for me to rate. I want to give it 3 stars, but in the end decided to go with 4 stars. There are a handful of hotels closer, but this was pretty close and I was happy with the location for walking to the parks. All of the hotels that are close charge a crazy rate for parking, as does this one. It's just part of what you sign up for. The room overall was clean in that the main floors were not gross, the sheets were clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. That being said, the sink had gunk in it, like it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly, the coffee maker and that area were all dusty, like nobody bothered to wipe them off and the refrigerator also could have been wiped out better. The shower was clean and well kept and I felt good about the room outside of the bit of lack of cleanliness in those areas. My biggest complaint is that I booked a king bed room 6 months in advance. Yet when I did mobile check-in, they gave me a queen room. I called to tell them I was being put in the wrong room and they said they were over-sold on king bedrooms and all they had were queens. If you don't have the room, let people know that 6 months in advance instead of waiting until the day before. I also requested a handicap room for our second room and they were not able to fill that request either. The staff are very courteous and kind and I felt like they cared, but they also couldn't do anything to help our situation and there were no accommodations made to offset their mistake in booking. The refrigerator didn't work properly. Most of our food froze. I adjusted the settings but it didn't seem to matter, still all of our food would freeze. So, it was rendered inedible and unusable, which was inconvenient and wasteful. No microwaves in the room, but there is one to use on the 3rd floor guest area. It's not a bad hotel and I might stay here again, I would just have to know that I am probably not going to get the room I actually booked, which is unfortunate. And I won't count on a working refrigerator."
