"This place is a joke. No management that looks over anything here. Trash is always full and gross. Parking is ridiculous. People take advantage of their handicap passes and switch cars. People have 2 car garages and take over the handicap parking spaces as additional parking spots and NEVER MOVE THEM. This place needs to do better."

"If I can give 0 stars I would! Don’t move here this place is disgusting I’ve been here for a year and I’m ready to go! Still don’t know where I will relocate but a millions times better a hotel then pay 3000 for a trashed unit since day one. Since the day I moved this place has been infested with roaches I tried multiple times to reach out they say they provide pest control every week! Yes but why rent a unit that’s already infested? Speaking to my neighbors too many has had the same issue! Not to mention the smell in the cabinets and mold behind the restroom mirrors. This is clearly a bigger issue the whole entire complex is infested they rent units out before making sure it’s a habitable place for future tenants. According to the state of California code 1941.1 that’s a code violation not to mention the negligence they do by never answering the phone! They just want to take your money but we have rights for the people that still live here and if you don’t please don’t move here you will be under stress all the time with roaches coming out when your cooking because they are mostly in kitchen. Due to the 20 years cabinet’s that can’t be replace so if you move here that will be your problem to contact pest control every week! This picture below is when a pipe broke maintenance came to put it together until the would come back and fix it! Took them 2 weeks to do so leaving a hole in my restroom and these roaches were coming out every night mind you the restroom is inside our room!"

"Please NEVER move here. LOOK AT THE RECENT REVIEWS AND NOT THE FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS. There is no staff onsite and this apartment, management and treatment of their tenants is probably the worst I have seen after living all over the US. I have never faced this treatment in my life! I moved in last month and the condition I received the apartment was despicable. I addressed these issues to management as soon as I moved in, but to make matters worse, after more than a month, not a single issue has been resolved. My issues shown below indicate the condition I received the apartment in. It clearly shows no work was done to bring my unit to an acceptable condition before move it. 1. Disgusting smells, kitchen cabinets never cleaned 2. Leaks from my ceiling that still haven’t been fixed. Filthy, rusted air conditioner fixtures. 3. Mold and damage behind bathroom mirror that still hasn’t been replaced. 4. Non functional appliances, dishwasher makes my dishes stink. 5. No security, main garage door is never closed allowing anyone to enter. There have been 2 graffiti incidents in the 4 weeks I've been here. 6. Paint all over appliances and cabinet trims. Like a 5 year old painted the unit with absolutely no care. The list goes on and on. Imagine paying $2000+ for a 1 bed to live here! I am about to break my lease and move elsewhere, this is the probably the worse apartment community in Santa Ana. You should Move to one of the many better apartment complexes around the area for similar prices and don’t make the same mistake I did. EDIT: To prove my point, try calling their office and check if they pickup the phone. The only time they pickup the phone is if you're trying to sign a new lease:) This should tell you enough about what you will deal with if you sign a lease here."

"We've been in this community for about 6 months and I have felt that we've spent enough time at Parskide Court to write a proper review. My boyfriend and I are pretty quiet people. We both work a lot during the week and have to be up early due to our jobs. Unfortunately, a noise situation was occurring with a neighbor and we of course wanted to handle the case with maturity, respect, and professionalism. Fortunately, we were able to do just that with the support from the AMAZING services team here. Elisabeth, Marilyn, and especially Cynthia have been empathetic about our situation and displayed great communication and we were able to reach a mutual understanding and have the best outcome for all of us. I have heard of apartment services not upolding standards and increasingly display a lack of communication, however, the ladies at Parkside Court CARE and they want EVERYONE to be happy. In regards to the complex itself, it is pretty clean and I have not seen one cockroach or rat (cockroaches and rats usually occur in messy dirty areas and we clean up after ourselves). You have to adapt and even out your standards a bit as you aren't living in Beverly Hills. I think our favorite thing about our specific unit is our beautiful tree that touches our balcony and gives us shade. We love the greenery around the complex and appreciate all of the amenities. Although we loved the pool and spa and are sad it is not currently availble, we apprecite the measures that Essex is taking with COVID-19 and we will be excited when it opens back up. Overall, Parkside Court is a wonderful little place and I hope that people utilize Elisabeth, Marilyn, and Cynthia with any concerns because they get things done and are truly considerate!"
