"My family has been living at apex before they changed management. Everything was great till they changed management, the manager now doesn't help when it's needed you can never get ahold of her but when it's something YOU did wrong she'll out of nowhere appear and will respond back. Other than that the apartments are good homes just need a lot of maintenance done every other week."
"02/24 UPDATE: Don't let all the glam fool you! We have been in these complexes for a very long time. When we first moved in, we had the sweetest couple that would take care of the community and residents that made this place a home. Unfortunately, when the building was sold the management team that took over had zero interest in its current residents. They pushed out so many people with renovations, "upgrades", and rent increases. They focused on adding ridiculous units and modernizing for profit that they do not care about the tenants that currently reside here. A blatant example is the lack of communication. I've read the recent reviews and they are spot on. There is no effort to inform residents of maintenance updates whether it's unit or community based. There have been days without water accompanied with days without knowing or hearing updates from management. If your unit needs attention it takes everyone on the lease to pry for action. Construction has been in place for over a year and nothing has been done about the day to day use of the structure such as the parking lot, washers & dryers, plumbing, and of course zero status updates on when we can expect for construction to be done. The office hours that are in place are so inconvenient for working families and although a cellphone is 24 hours unfortunately the response times are not. In retrospect, the residents that live here are mostly family oriented, lively, and welcoming. If you're seeking a quite cell, I would advise you to come check out the community first because it can get loud, especially in the summer. Accessibility to stores and restaurants is great, especially with the new Mercado across the street. Overall, the community is amazing but our experience with management has been lacking with no improvement insight. We definitely miss Debbie and Rick. ----- Debbie and Rick are the best! They attend to all matters and make sure our community is clean. Definitely a great place to live!"
"I've lived in Apex for two years. There is construction going on and the noises that go along with that, but seeing the refurbished apartments makes the slight hassle worth it. This is a complex that has mostly families, so children are in the pool during the summer and the pool can get crowded on summer weekends. I personally like it this way. It feels alive rather than dead silence like other places I've lived. But to each his own. I was ajed to relocate apartments once so they could refurbish mine. I was not charged a cleaning or damage fee to compensate me for the inconvenience of relocating. The office manager, Tara, is fair with the rules that are required in a complex that has many different people living in it. Most reviews here are complaining about not receiving their full security deposit back. Very few places give a full refund because there is a cost associated with getting a place ready for rent again. I only gave four stars due to the construction going on."
"The apartment area was very calm with a good environment plus you have a lot of accessibility to many restaurants/shops. The manager was also kind and was very helpful with us. Overall the community was very warming and welcoming."
"Tara is a horrible manager she has no people's skills ,she has no managerial skills ,She hardly ever in the office .When we did the walk through yelled at me about how cabinet handles were damaged .When I told her that our pipe got clogged . She claims her crew wouldn't that do that. MY OLDER SON IS Disabled snd she yelled at him for trying to help me.We left because children were allowed to run around all hours of day in the pool area without a parent watching, so between screaming ,yelling using profanity ,Children slamming pool gates. THE parties happening on the 1st floor. People allowed to park anywhere.I felt there was no way to talk to her at that point . WE got our kitchen back which was nice but the whole thing she's trying to charge me for a deep clean on my living room floor, She wants to replace the cabinet doors because supposedly we damaged them . She yelled at my son, knowing he has a disability that is unacceptable managerial behavior. She has horrible people skills. My son will never go back there. He liked her, not any more."
