"This is place is not safety anymore !!! There is no security or patrol. If you try to call them. They don't answer. All garage door is unlock 24 hours( maybe a month) no one come to fix it and easily unlock main entrance door. Someone smash your car or broke your car glass easily which is happened to me last night. They smashed my car. Patrol and management stil has no idea about that happened. I think eaves do not deserve that amount of rent. At least you guys are hire a security. Totally disappointing."
"At the end of the rental period, they send an offer for renewal, in which the price is $220 higher than on the website. The apartment is old, there are fifteen layers of paint on the kitchen furniture, the heating equipment and air conditioning are very old and energy inefficient, which is why the electricity bills are high when used. It is impossible to reach the office by phone and they do not answer emails. All the locks on the entrance doors do not work and anyone can enter the community, which is what happens. While going to work in the morning I saw homeless people sleeping in the grill area. Recently, a window of one of the cars was broken."
"We have lived here for several years now and even though it isn't the best maintenance wise however after the pandemic this facility has gone way down hill .From staffing to maintenance etc HORRIBLE.Now they claim that their "Big boss" has rolled out new rules and is demanding the entire apartment complex remove all decor from their patios or landscaping a week just before Christmas. We have never had any issues decorating in the past and now my kids that waited all year to decorate are being forced to take everything down or it'll be thrown away they say .I guess Eaves is not Christmas or religious friendly anymore or maybe their BIG BOSS is a Satanist or just loves to ruin Christmas for families a only one WEEK before Christmas!!!? That takes a very sick type of person to do that ,you couldn't have postponed that til January and let families enjoy their decor a couple more weeks?Sick I can't wait til we can buy our own home and not have to be forced into such a negative, evil environment."
"I have lived at eaves from July 2021 until October 2023. Eaves is not a safe place. The main vehicle gate is often broken and it has now been broken for 8 weeks. No time frame has been given to the residents living here for when it will be functioning again. Because of this, cars are being broken in to, and homeless and dangerous people are inside the gate which put me and my family at unease. We asked eaves if we could break our lease 7 weeks early due to the safety concerns, and eaves told us that we would have to pay a $2900 lease breaking fee or be responsible until our lease terms Dec 2023. We have tried talking to as many people through eaves contact support as we could and none were helpful. In fact, one even showed us where it says in our lease that Eaves is not liable to keep gates fixed or protect the residents that live there. I don’t think anyone should move into eaves. It’s a bad area of Huntington Beach and we are very sad that we have to leave on such bad terms. The neighbors have been nice and we feel eaves should not have charged us a lease breaking fee since the place is unsafe and we are leaving due to feeling anxious and afraid."
"I've lived here for the last 2.5 years and my experience has been great. I can also say, from the Staff I've had the chance to interact with, Ana and Linda are the greatest, always with a smile and willing to help as much as possible. From Maintenance, Bryan, Ana and Omar have always been very professional, friendly and very helpful. Overall, very happy to be part of this community."
