"This is the worst apartment I ever lived in. THEY HAVE BED BUGS. We moved here with my toddler and new born not having any idea about the nightmare it was going to cause us. Few days after me moved in we noticed strange bites on our bodies. Couple more days later we realized they were bed bug bites. I immediately contacted the apartment maintenance woman and she lied to us saying that they didn't have bed bugs and it was us who brought them and so we should be the ones paying for the treatment. I believed her and thought that may be the uhaul truck we used had bed bugs in it and started to contact terminators. But we got lucky when the previous tenant came to our home and asked if we got any of his mail since he forgot to apply for mail transfer. I asked him about the bedbugs and he told us the truth. They had bed bugs and had 3 treatments but when they couldn't get rid of them, changed the apartment. I immediately went to the woman at maintenance and she said she was not aware they had treatments. I knew it was an outright lie. I fought with her and she finally agreed to get the treatment done. It took us multiple treatments and an absolute nightmare with having to leave the house for treatments and washing and cleaning everything again and again. Not to forget we couldn't go to anyone's house or invite anyone for over 3 months with fear of spreading the infestation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APARTMENT AND THE LYING STAFF."
"My son lived at the Palisades apartments for a full year 2021-2022 and we must say that it was worth the value. The one bedroom apartment had a loft and was very spacious. My husband and I visited often and have to compliment the management and maintenance person, because they were very helpful and always responded to my son's requests. This complex is very safe and secure, it was kept clean and the amenities were worth it. Unfortunately my son had to move back to Texas however, he really enjoyed his stay a the Palisades and really enjoyed the city of Torrance, CA. Kudos to Kathy, the manager who is outstanding and Bryan who is very talented and can fix anything in the apartment. Great place to live in Southern California!"
"Entirely overpriced. Nearly $3k a month for what used to be tile counters, and now have so many layers of paint the grout lines no longer exist. Same for bathrooms. Must sign a waiver to not put food in garage disposal due to CONSTANT clogs throughout the entire building. This results in sewage in the parking garage at least twice a month. Renter beware!!"
"Kathy, the manager was incredible. We were down to the wire in trying to find an apartment. When I spoke with her she was friendly, helpful and patient. We got the apartment the same day we looked at it. Beautiful place, quiet and clean. Highly recommend."
"I recently moved away from here. I have two small children and lived in a two bedroom with my husband. I moved out right when my 6-month lease ended. The Property Manager is clueless here. She has the maintenance crew consistently run leaf blowers at 8AM (right on the dot) on Mondays and Fridays! An obnoxious wake up call! I would not care during a different time, but it is absolutely unbearable during the pandemic when I have to watch two children and work. I could use the extra quiet during the mornings instead of having to juggle work and two cranky kids who are woken up by the loud sound of a leaf blower engine. It’s no wonder people move out so quickly. Maybe the property manager should realize you should try to create a PEACEFUL environment where residents can actually live and get proper rest. Instead, the property manager’s goal is to run this building like a business and try to make the building appear clean so they can lease to new tenants. The turnover here is quite high. I have now moved to a new apartment in the same Delthorne area. Before I moved, I asked each prospective building if they also allow their maintenance crew to run their leaf blowers (which is about 83 decibels - chain saw is 110) at 8AM in the morning. No one else does."
