Liberty Military Housing - San Miguel

"1 - Liberty Military Housing, who handles putting military families into homes is incredibly predatory. They will take your entire BH allowance for a small home that does not include a washer and dry. They will have you sign a contract with absolutely no “set,” rent price. So, if your housing allowance increases, they will take it. The woman I spoke to on the phone. I ask that very question, “Will you increase the rent, IF housing allowance is increased,” and they said yes. Why? Because, quote, “It’s how they operate.” Any families moving, please be aware and try to rent off base. It’s actually CHEAPER! Which is wild to think about in California!!! I believe it is truly insane that they cannot even provide even a washer to families who, generally, need and want to wash their clothes and belongings after moving. Liberty Housing are price gougers through and through."

"Move in was extremely fast and easy. We received or offer within a weeks time. During our move in inspection the staff was very nice and understanding. Liberty Military Housing is a lot more accommodating than previous military housing companies when it comes to back yard policies and customization of the house in order to make it a home. Only downside so far has been the conditions of the properties playgrounds. Nothing dangerous just not kept."

"Liberty Military Housing tells the maintenance men to spy in residence homes when the go to fix something. Then the maintenance men report back to housing managers what they see in your house. Then they send you letter saying they need to inspect your house and try to evict you from your house. How is this even legal to have maintenance spying on residents? This needs to stop. This is the worst place to live."

"If there is an option to give them zero star, that's what I would give them. We lived there for exactly a year and from the start we were already having bad experience with them. The house was partially clean and even the staff who gave us the walk-through and handed us the keys was embarrassed about and offered us if she can send out someone to clean the house. Couple of days later, we had a water leak. Took almost midnight to stop the leak. I had to call them 2 days after to find out the status of my bathroom because they kept it locked instead of them notifying me. I was then told they are looking for someone to fix the drywall they have removed to get to leak. It took a while week before I can use my bathroom. 1 day to fix the leak, 6 days for the drywall, UNSAT. We finally moved out a year later and they charging me $75 for partial cleaning. I am giving them the house the same condition how I received it when i moved in. Also, they literally told me I will get a prorated rent and will start seeing my bah on the 1st of next month. Which I didn't. So i reached out to them and i was told me they are taking my whole bah for that month of the day I moved and won't get my refund mid the following month, making me late of paying my new house payment. Did not receive a single apology after talking to them about it. So that shows you they don't care just as long they get their money. This is my first time using Lincoln Military Housing and will be my last."

"My experience with Lincoln Military Housing over 3 years was outstanding. I was very pleased with the maintenance team and how quickly they address issues. Upon moving out and the house is inspected, they do not try to rip you off. Having moved now to a different base and living with a different housing management company, I can say I miss dealing with Lincoln Military Housing."
