"River rafting with @actionwhitewateradventures You raft as a group. The guides are very knowledgeable and great at teaching the sport to you as beginner. They go along with you help direct you on the raft when to paddle and when to ride the river. Rapids go as high as 3 plus. River rafting is a good upper body and core workout. You use muscles that you don’t realize. I was sore the next day as a first timer. River rafting provides a thrill when you ride the rapids and you will get wet, no exceptions!"

"This was not our first time going white water rafting but it was the best thanks to Stevie G. Great guide around giving us the local history along with a kicking' ride. Only gave 4 stars because the organizers were extremely disorganized and it took almost two hours to get on the water. Additionally, although delicious, lunch was a long walk uphill which was extremely difficult with my mobility issues."

"The way these whitewater rafting companies seem to work is by buying rubber boats, life wests, paddles and some vans, hire guides and then just collect money. This leads to equipment usually being a bit worn out. AWA's equipment is maybe a little bit more worn than average, but their prices are also much lower. Our guide was a great guy and made the whole experience better. Lunch is simple sandwiches. Bring sunscreen. The experience floating through the Sierra foothills is amazing and the rapids breathtaking. You see the power and serenity of nature up close. Recommended."
