"I have been living in the apartments from 2020, and I can see clearly good changes happening after brookfield team took care of the apartments. An example is the maintenance team and how quick Pablo took care of the problem I had in my apartments on a Sunday evening. Still some areas to improve but overall I am happy with the changes happening. A five star for Pablo!"
"I moved to Vintage because of the kindness and attention, Ms Gracie Sandoval , (the associate who took our call)showed us during our tour. I had so many questions and concerns and hesitations due to my previous horror experiences I endured in my last apartment. Ms Gracie addressed all my concerns and now after 2 months that we have moved to Vintage, she continues her support every time I have a question or need the management to address something. I wish her all the best and would like the management to know the kind of service she is providing for the residents. Thank you I am editing this post as somehow I could not leave another review. I wanted to appreciate the efforts of Pable, the maintenance person who is going above and beyond fixing things. He sends me videos of how to clean my dishwasher or how to program my old thermostat and in general is so capable and attentive. I am so impressed. Thank you Pablo."
"I just moved in recently, so I may amend this review but so far, I'm thrilled. The price is high, but that's the story across the Bay Area. There are complexes charging the same for much less. The attention to detail here is clear. What I love the most is that there are so many spaces that residents can take advantage of. The pool has plenty of seating with canopies to escape the sun. The inner courtyard has tables as well as seating in front of the fireplace areas. The common room has working spaces as well as two separate TV spaces. There's a pet wash and a bike repair area as well, which as a dog owner, I LOVE! The unit itself is incredibly spacious – our last apartment was in the same area, same number of rooms, and felt incredibly dark and cramped. The fixtures and appliances are modern and work great! The bedrooms are a touch small compared to some other places, but not majorly so. The building is quiet because they've put proper insulation in. I am a dog owner and I cannot express how much I love this building purely for my dogs. I have 3 dogs (pet limit is 2, one is my neurological support service dog) and they're living their best life here. We can walk right out to Shadow Cliffs Regional Park, which has off-leash trails. In addition, there's a dog park here that's great for potty breaks and playtime. The dog park is a bit small if I'm going to be picky, but the owners are very aware of their dogs and expect good manners from everyone. Plus, everyone is very kind. In general, as a vet tech, I caution against dog parks, but I really appreciate how accountable everyone is for their pets. Definitely move here if you have dogs! My dogs are very intense, high energy working breeds and they love it here. I cannot recommend more!"
"I lived here over a year ago, and maybe things have changed since I left. But I would not recommend anyone to live here. Apartments are decent and the staff was nice. I had no complaints about the staff. But the units and experience were not worth the price. 1) As far as I know, unless you live in the main building, you won’t have access to an elevator - so be ready go up and down the stairs with your heavy belongings during your move. 2) The complex nickel and dimes you for everything. You get one assigned parking space with your unit and if you have an additional car, as most families do, you have to pay an additional fee. On top of that, you have to pay a yearly parking pass per car to park in the spaces you pay monthly for, which is ridiculous considering how much people pay already. I lived in a previous place where the passes were just included, and tenants only got charged if they didn’t return them. That seems more appropriate especially if you already pay extra for parking. 3) They didn’t provide ceiling fans or ceiling lights in rooms. They provide the outlets, and if you want proper lighting or ceiling fans installed, we were told you have to purchase them and install them yourself. When we moved in, we asked if maintenance would do it for us and they told us no, which seemed like a liability but that’s how they did it. So if you can’t install your own stuff, you’ll have to just buy lamps. Maybe it’s change since Brookefield took over, but I have no idea if it did or not. 4) So many tenants let their dogs poop and pee outside and don’t clean after their pets. Or worse, they let their dogs pee in the hallways. The complex does try to control this, but it doesn’t work well. Before we moved out we had an entire stairwell smelling like urine and it took almost three months for them to get someone to come and fix it. So if you like the smell of hot dog urine on hallway carpets during the summer and a complex that takes their time in cleaning it up - this is the place for you. 5) I suggest if you do move in, document everything. Absolutely everything. Even a tiny scuff on the wall or speck on the floor. When we moved out we were charged for carpet replacement for a small “stain”, and I mean small, that was very light, aside from that the carpet was fine. A new tenant could use that carpet perfectly and just document it upon move in. It was not destroyed and had plenty of use left, but the complex did not consider it normal wear and tear. It felt like we had this apartment full of wear and tear upon move in, but were expected to leave it in perfect condition when we left. Unless you destroy something, there’s no reason for a complex to charge you like that. I’ve never had that experience until I lived here. 6) I can’t be certain but I get the impression they don’t actually send cleaners in to clean the apartments before someone moves in, unless its messy. I was told that the apartments are cleaned if necessary and charged back to the resident upon move out. So if you decide to live here, I suggest you thoroughly clean and disinfect your apartment before move in. I feel like there’s no guarantee that the former tenant actually cleaned properly because if it looks clean when they move out, it sounds like, based on what I was told, that the complex won’t send in cleaners to properly clean and disinfect for new tenants. And unless the previous tenant leaves a terrible mess or destroys the apartment, I see no reason to charge the former tenant for a standard clean up. 7) One pro to living here is the location. The location is great but it wasn’t enough to keep us here. We we weren’t the only people to move out because we found something bigger for the same or similar pricing. We moved in when they were under Greystar and left after the transition to Brookefield. Again, this was my experience. Perhaps things are different now."
"Good amenities & very spacious apartments! Yes they are pricey but they have a lot to offer & are located right by a Starbucks, CVS, & Coldstone Creamery. Overall, great apartments! They were even quick to fix a pipe burst & started the water back within a day."
