"I moved in to Riley Square one month ago. I love its gardens (nature view), the playground, the pool, the location, washer and dryer in unit and how much natural light comes from the windows. I searched for months and this was the best option within our budget that meets our expectations. What I dislike is that there's no on-site leasing office, everything is by email or phone. This makes the communication a bit slower and difficult. So we have to be patient or they need more team members. The available support team (Leo and Diana) were very helpful during the selection of our apartment and then transferring us to a new one within the community using their 30 day satisfaction guarantee. Initially we moved in blindly and the apartment was outdated, different than the virtual tour. It required some maintenance services. The maintenance team fullfiled several requests, but some were quick superficial fixes, we still were not satisfied with them nor the cabinets. That's why we decided to transfer to an all new modern renovated apartment in Riley square. We are very happy in our new home. I suggest to the management team describing when a unit is classic (without microwave and outdated), ideally sharing some photos of the condition of the unit so that we can make a better informed decision. Our transfer was completed in 1 week. We had several questions and the team was very supportive (specially Diana) in replying in detail our questions as soon as she promised. Most of the time in less than 4 hours. I have talked to several neighbors who are happy living here from 3 to 7 years."

"AVOID THIS AT ALL COST Extremely cunning property management. You will end up being robbed. I was interested at this property and had an conversation with management regarding fees and deposits. They told only 600$ and I need to 300$. Once I proceed with paying 300$ management asked me to keep TWO months of deposit before move in. I would never proceed with holding deposit if I was communicated this before. Then they removed the hold on once they knew I wont be able to pay or satisfy their n number of other qualifications. AND THEY KEEP HOLDING DEPOSIT saying I did not removed the move in request within 24 hours of application. These are extremely pathetic people who is very nice till you pay the deposit. Then they do ask for more money and never release initial deposits."

"This is one of the worst apartment in the community.. I am a current resident living here.. Will never make the mistake of renewing the lease and evacuate it next term.. All requests are open here for more than 2 weeks and requires infinite follow-up's.. My son had a health issue because of the cockroaches and pest control followed up 3 weeks after the request was put.. Nobody told us about the half-covered garage parking spots.. We had a huge kitchen leak from the pipes at top of kitchen which could have fell on us and the response from community was it is ok since nothing major happened. None of this was taken into account in our lease rates and we still pay a lot. The rents are pretty expensive and given how poor apartment and service is, I definitely dont recommend renting here."

"No person in this leasing office ever replies to emails nor even picks calls to address any concerns even after this LiFE THREATENING incident I am going to explain in a bit. As a current resident, it’s a hopeless community with very poor infrastructure and ill maintained houses. Our roof just collapsed in the kitchen because of leaks and the rubble that fell off the floor had life threatening nails and all kinds of sharp metal nuts which is LIFE THREATENING if someone had stood during the fall. It has only created mess and rubble with loooot of dust from the roof fall. Refer to the pictures Though the plumbing guys came, were very very arrogant to the questions asked, one guy even threatened walk out because he was asked basic questions, that’s completely unprofessional. This was the last thing we would have asked as residents to the utter ill treatment we have been subjected to right from the move in to this Essex - Riley square apartment property. As current residents we expect/demand some accountability from management and compensation for all the extreme inconvenience and torcheres journey we have had. Pathetic infrastructure and even poorly maintained buildings. A big mistake having chosen to live here. We want to move out now with no penalties, but the apartment people Kristina is trying to make money and play on already damages we have incurred due to roof fall. We have had our kitchen equipments damaged, for which they did not reimburse. Also, not a $ offered part of damages, leave apart value for life and letting us leave with no charges. Inhuman property management and incapable of owning responsibilities for their poor service towards tenants . Below third class people who don’t come on phones, nor respond to emails. Just wished I had negative stars to rate . Stay away from this dangerous and monster management property Riley Square."
