"Recently moved from San Francisco to Walnut Creek. Jessica Helton was super informative and helpful. She helped me find a 1 bedroom and even with the view I was looking for. Very simple process. Place is super nice and I couldn’t be happier. Would highly recommend."

"I really don’t understand why Castlewood has such a low rating. I’ve lived here for over a year now. The management is so kind and understanding. The residents that I have come across have been very polite and friendly. It’s defiantly a little community we have here. The grounds are always well maintained. I gave it 5 stars because I truly have had a great experience here."

"Beware of Application additional fees We did a virtual tour, liked the apartment and filled out an application. They said the application fee was $42 but after filling out the application they were charging $42 per person AND a $900 deposit/hold before they would process the application. So if they denied you, they had 30 days to return your hold deposit. I told Samantha that I wouldn't pay a hold until I knew if I was accepted and she didn't respond. I went one block closer and got a great apartment, the same day, with only the $40 deposit. Other reviews had this same problem."

"Absolutely love this place! I moved across country and first time resident in the Bay Area, not only were they extremely timely in confirming my approval for the apartment that I rented but they also made it super easy to move into when I arrived with a car full of stuff.. they definitely exceeded my expectations when the fridge in my unit wasn’t working. The allowed me to place some items in a fridge of a vacant unit (amazed that they have any vacant units) and within only one business day they replaced the fridge and restocked it with my items from the vacant unit. This all took place while I was at work!! That’s amazing service. The management team is truly wonderful and that’s coming from someone who works in real estate. This really is a convenient and great place to live in Walnut Creek"
