"Before you consider renting from Vrent, allow me to provide you with some insights into their business practices. In contrast to other rental companies, there is no penalty for breaking your lease. Instead, you have the option to leave at any time, yet you remain responsible for the rent until the apartment is re-rented. If one month has elapsed from your new lease, you cannot transfer to a different apartment. You will be held accountable for all utility expenses, including water, garbage, and gas. The management is not particularly prompt in their responses. I had to send them multiple emails for minor repairs before they finally acknowledged the issues. Specifically, for the property located at 530 Kendall Ave in Palo Alto, the property manager, Anna, displays an uncooperative and unpleasant demeanor. Her primary focus is on renting out the apartment and concealing any problems associated with it. During the initial weeks of our tenancy, the apartment presented numerous issues. Their approach to resolving problems seems to involve simply covering up old issues with paint. Regarding noise, the foundation of the 530 Kendall building is notably thin, resulting in sound transmission from neighboring apartments being quite apparent. Additionally, it's important to note that this apartment contains lead paint. Therefore, if you have children, it's highly advisable to seek a different building for your accommodation, as this environment might not be safe for your kids."
