"The building management team at Mia has been amazing! Very personable when handling issues. If I had a complaint I'm almost always contacted for more details within hours and when we needed something fixed they were in the unit within 24 hours with all the right tools - only delayed in order to accommodate my own schedule as I requested to be home for any maintenance. The team in general has been very empathetic and supportive with any issue or need that we've had. Always appreciate their attentiveness!"
"I enjoy my residence in Mia apartment. The scenic view is beautiful, and facilities are well-maintained. The lobby decor creates delightful atmosphere. The staff, along with their management, are highly responsive."
"After living in Mia for more than 2 years in a studio I have to say it was a great place live! Mia highlights are: fantastic, dedicated property manager Stephanie and wonderful, peaceful community. Stephanie went out of her way to build great living place for residents at Mia. From installation of AC, to Daily Living trash valet service, upgrading gym, introducing more frequent social mixers and dedicating additional time on Saturdays to meet with prospective renters she goes above and beyond every day to work for you. Residents are very friendly, respectful and don’t cause any problems. Entire property was always very clean thanks to fantastic crew. If you had an issue, Mia was very responsive to after hours maintenance requests. Secured parking is included in rent. The views from apartment are gorgeous. Neighborhood is quiet, safe and features a lots of restaurants and beautiful Stanford Campus 15min walk. There is no in unit washer and drier, but community laundry is located on every floor. I had to move to SF for work, but I would definitely consider staying otherwise. Best place I rented in my life! Thank you for your hard work Stephanie and entire Mia crew!"
"Mia is situated in a prime Palo Alto location, featuring a picturesque neighborhood dotted with rose gardens. The community management is notably responsive, and there’s the added bonus of a well-maintained pool complemented by two BBQs & gym. Internet speed could use an upgrade, particularly for those expecting Silicon Valley standards. A subtle note—there have been instances of false fire alarms and the occasional scent of strong cleaning supplies, particularly in the basement and elevators. In summary, Mia provides a quality living experience with a few points to keep in mind. The advantages may well outweigh the minor drawbacks for many residents."
"I spent about 8 months living here while I was in town for work. I have to say this was one of the best apartment experiences I had so far. The community manager, Stephanie, did a great job keeping things together at this place. Any maintenance requests were promptly acknowledged and followed through by her and the maintenance team, whether it was something to be fixed in the unit itself or something I noticed in the garage. The apartment building itself had enough amenities to keep most folks satisfied. A nice gym that has the essentials and a little more, a nice outdoor heated pool, outside gathering areas with gas-powered firepits, and BBQ pits. The garages are also gated so the additional safety is there. The building is also situated just a short street away from the little park that's just big enough to do a little evening stroll if you want. Even walking around the neighborhood is a nice experience by itself. Don't forget the convenience of everything that's around the building. Palo Alto university avenue is just a few blocks away, far enough to not get the noise/light but close enough if you need to get something from the downtown area. Lots of nice restaurants and dining options around... I don't think I need to speak to these. Wide range of options for all types of cravings and spending power. Multiple grocery stores around the bigger vicinity area, including a big enough Whole Foods. Oh and Salt & Straw ice cream and Somi Somi Ice Cream, both stores that open late, can't beat that! Stanford Shopping Mall is a little further out but still convenient enough and has all the range of stuff you need to shop for. The apartment unit itself is well-renovated and the floorings were beautiful. We had a little unit that overlooked one of the houses that had a lemon tree. It was a serene experience. I would sometimes sing the lemon tree song to my wife when I feel silly (well it is a silly and fun song). If I'm not wrong, they are doing some renovations through some units so do inquire about the newly renovated units (which I believe most are at this point). Ruffino, the maintenance guy, is always on top of things and very responsive. Nice demeanor and gets stuff fixed in a timely manner. Brizey, the building cleaning, takes pride in her work and keeps the place clean and tidy. These are mostly the three building staff I interact with mostly and I would say they make a great team. I know there might be a few that I missed that are also behind the scenes and I just want to give a big thanks for the team at Mia Palo Alto."
