"i LIVED HERE AND IT WAS, AND IS A HORRIBLE UNCOMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE. IT'S THE LOCATION...TOP FLOOR 3 BEDROOM 2 BATH AND THEY CHARGED $3400 PER MONTH INCLUDING THE OUTRAGEOUS GARBAGE AND WATER FEES. THE OCCUPANTS ARE MANAGEMENT OF THE COMPLEX LIVE BELOW #715. THEY ARE RUDE, NOISEY, INCONSIDERATE, CRUDE AND TALK LOUD AT 11:00PM AT NIGHT AND THEY SNORE LIKE MONSTER PIGS..IT'S #715. iF YOU ARE READING THIS DEAR POSSIBLE TENANT, PLEASE BE WARY OF THIS BAD APARTMENT AND PEOPLE WHO LIVE HERE. NOISEY, WITH HORRENDOUS ROAD NOISE, NEIGHBORS LOUD TALK AND YELL IN COMMON AREAS...AMMENITIES ARE SO-SO..EVEN THE PAINT STILL WET ON DOOR JAMS CAUSING STICKING AND LOUD CRACKING..PAPER THIN WALLS. TENANTS REPAIR THEIR TRUCKS IN THE PARKING AREA...MANAGEMENT DOES NOTHING...BUT I GUESS THEY DID THEIR JOB BY ALIENATING ME AND MOVING OUT!"
"About four years ago, in the midst of the pandemic, I made the move to the East Bay. After extensive research and touring various apartments, I ultimately chose Crest View as my new home. Initially, I had reservations because the reviews were not as high as other complexes in the area, such as The Dutton, Metro Six55, City View, Creekwood, and Mission Heights. However, I can honestly say that choosing Crest View was one of the best decisions I've made. Crest View marks my first experience renting a place entirely on my own after years of living with housemates. It was a significant step for me, and the Crest View staff made the entire process remarkably smooth. Positioned on the hillside of Mission/Tennyson, Crest View offers spectacular views from the apartments, along with ample natural lighting. I appreciate how the property's elevation shields the residemts from traffic and city noise, despite being located on a main street. Among all the apartments I considered, Crest View fulfilled the most requirements on my checklist. The pros include fair pricing per unit/square foot, sensible floor plans, updated units, swimming pools, gyms and sauna facilities, a clean and updated laundry room, central heating (depending on the unit), up to two parking spots, and plenty of street parking for guests. Of course, no place is perfect, and Crest View is not without its drawbacks. It lacks an AC unit and an in-unit washer/dryer. After a year, I decided to try another apartment complex (The Dutton) in search of these amenities. However, my experience at the Dutton, both with the unit and the neighborhood, was so unpleasant that I cut my lease short after five months and returned to Crest View. The Crest View staff graciously welcomed me back, and in hindsight, the absence of an AC unit and in-unit washer/dryer was a small price to pay for the overall positive experience. The staff has consistently been fantastic, addressing every request promptly, and resolving maintenance issues within 24 hours of submitting a ticket. Crest View truly feels like home, and I'm grateful for the welcoming and supportive community that Oscar and his team provides. If you're on the lookout for a new place to truly call home, I highly recommend setting aside some time to connect with Oscar and his team. Schedule a tour to personally gauge your experience before dismissing Crest View solely based on its lower ratings. Your firsthand experience might just unveil a hidden gem that the reviews might not have captured, just as it did for me."
"The new management are very fast at any repair or replacement. Same day many times."
"Moved in may 2022, was a rough start at first because I kept telling the lady in office all of April we wanted to move may 1st. At first she said great, no problem. Come the week before, she asked again (this was probably her 3rd/4th time asking) and I told her again, may 1st. She told me that wouldn’t work and they would be closed that day. It ended up working out thankfully and then months later they ended up replacing all their staff. The current staff is so nice! They ended up fixing a huge parking situation and every unit gets 2 spaces which is perfect for my family. Great place to raise my baby, it’s usually quiet and grounds are kept clean so when it’s not cold we walk around. I love that we’re on top of a hill so we can’t hear the busy street below. Any time you have a service request they come the same day. Highly recommend!"
"Probably the worst management the past 2 years living here getting worse and worse. If you are looking to move here don’t you will regret it. Almost impossible to get a hold of them. Parking is terrible you get one spot but if it’s not registered in your name you can’t park in YOUR assigned spot which is crazy. Don’t make a mistake moving here."
