"Great management"
"Our two-year stay here was delightful. Anne and Dave, the property managers, are exceptional. The location near Cal Ave, train station and Stanford is ideal, and the peace/quiet and upkeep is very impressive. They were consistently responsive via email, promptly addressing any issues. If we find ourselves in the neighborhood again, we’ll gladly return. This is a hidden gem!"
"Just about the only affordable place in Palo Alto unless you wanna live in a garage. The building's a bit older, but the units are really spacious and the greenery keeps things cool and shady in the summer. I was really surprised by how quiet things were -- I think I heard neighbors twice through a nine month stay. I can't say enough good about the property managers, Ann and Dave. They keep everything running seamlessly and are very responsive to any issues. When I told her I was moving out, Ann was really helpful in my search for another apartment, helping me screen out scams and giving a bunch of good advice."
"The property managers Dave and Anne are lovely and run a tight ship. They handle maintenance requests quickly and are easy to get a hold of, especially since they live on site. It is very unit-dependent how nice the apartments are. Some are badly in need of updating (laminate counters, stained linoleum floors, old stained carpet), others are recently updated to granite countertops and wood floors. Regardless of being updated or not, all kitchens are small with limited counter space and cupboard storage. All second floor units are carpeted because the floors are thin and you can easily hear your upstairs neighbors. It's just an old apartment building. The pool is unpleasantly chilly 95% of the time. I am convinced that they pump in fresh ground water weekly. The only time the water would be nice was if it was consistently hot weather (>90 degrees) for multiple days. Overall, it's a nice quiet community on the more affordable side, so you get what you pay for."
"Apartments are cheaply made and furnished."
