"Got shown a unit i liked. The office person hollie showed me unit 305 a 1 bedroom. I asked the rent and she said if fluctuates (ok) from around 2000-2150. I pay 95 dollars for an application fee and 200 dollars to hold the unit. I explain i have a choice voucher and she states there are other tenants with a voucher that live there. I was stoked to live on the street i grew up on (1981) fourth st. So when they send in my rta(request for tenancy approval, they put $2375 for rent. And i got denied of coarse. They stated the last three similar units they rented were for $1959,$2000,and $1980. Why is it $2375 for me??? This feels so unfair and completely wrong. They give my housing Technician no explanation on why the unit is so much more than the other units. I had to do all the running around for proir landlord signatures and housing signatures. I pay the application fee and do most the work, doesnt seem right. So i go in to get my deposit/holding fee back and they tell me it is mailed within 21 days. Smh like its no big deal to just throw away 95 dollars and wait almost a month for my money back. No wonder the homeless problem is so bad around here. From places like this. Is this legal?"

"I wasn't impressed with the exterior when I first arrived. Then I met Hollie. Great person! She showed me 3 units all 3 were very clean and nice. New appliances. I needed to get in ASAP and she helped me speed things up. During her day off the 3 available units got rented out and nothing available for 1 month. Hollie saw I was visibly upset and she sprung into action and I only have to wait a few days thanks to her dedication to getting me an apartment. Hollie you are the best! I recommend Hollie to anyone who wants to rent here. Very personable and made me feel good even despite having a mishap."
