"Put in an application, forgot to put social security’s in. No one contacted me until I called to see if anything was missing. I sent in the social security’s just for them to tell me they never received an email under my name with the social security’s. Now they’re saying it’s too late for me to go to the office and show them proof because they exceeded the amount of application when I had sent it in about a week or 2 ago. Also said it was my responsibility to check in about my application but how is anyone supposed to know that there’s something missing on their application when they don’t get into contact with you."
"They were going to take my 160.00 application fee without telling me the rental was TAKEN. I brought it to their attention. And they said "oh,yeah it's been rented out already". WTH!!?? They were about to RIP me off. Not a good place to go. Try EVERYWHERE ELSE FIRST."
"I'm a tenant renting an apartment through this company. pros: you can pay your monthly rent online through their platform cons: it takes forever to fix or replace something for example: recently I requested to fix an old Fluorescent tube fixture that keeps on making a buzz sound...they send me a deaf electrician who said he doesn't hear high or low frequencies...and he called them told them there's nothing wrong with the light so they eneded up deciding they're not gonna fix it till it dies. another example: I requested Ac duct cleaning...they never send anyone to do it...I called and offered to pay for cleaning service...just needed permission from the landlord...never heard back from them. laundry room stays dirty most of the times. hard to communicate (you need appointment) in conclusion if you are a landlord and you wanna hire these guys to manage your company...you should know the tenants aren't gonna be happy with this management."
"JUST DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!! Please, you will be so sorry that you did. I took the time to stop by their office recently, only to find a locked door (it was 10:00 AM) with two women staring at me from their desks. They never even got up to speak to me. But there WAS a young man that opened up the door long enough to tell me that i needed to calm down. I don't even need to find a rental, I was there to talk about listing with them. Total joke. I cannot believe that they are still in business. They are beyond rude. I would give them a -5 star review. Negative 5."
"Do not rent from these people. I came from Kentucky and I guess they thought that because of where my ID says I'm from that I and my mother are uneducated. My mom had a temporary ID from Kentucky. The expired ID was stapled to a temporary one. If you take it apart it violates the law and invalidates the ID. Without permission and knowing what she was doing the woman tore them apart to copy them. Now my mom's ID isn't valid. The female manager on the phone told us that because we were in California that her KENTUCKY driver's license followed California laws. Not true. Second we called last night about an apartment and were told that we had to view it before applying. Fine thats your policy, whatever. We were told we were the first to view it and as long as we got our application in first and there were no issues it was basically ours. Not what we were told this morning. What was told to us this morning by a male manager was that they collect 5 applications for the same unit and then play lottery. Whoever they like is who gets it. They think this is how Equal Opportunity Housing works. What I don't think they realize is that Equal Opportunity Housing just means you can't deny someone over some sort of discrimination like race, or sex. All in all this group is horrible, and they own a large majority of the rental properties in Porterville so please be careful."
