About the Business
Saddle Up Wine Tours is a travel agency located at 44060 White Mountain Road in Aguanga, California, United States. Our institution is unique in that all earnings go towards funding our rescue operations for abandoned, neglected, and abused horses. Unfortunately, our professional rider, TJ, was recently injured and is unable to ride, so we rely on our guests' services and donations to keep our ranch running.
Since opening in November 2012, we have rescued over 200 horses, with 30 currently at our ranch. We are all volunteers, including the owner, to ensure that all funds go towards the care of our rescued animals. Your support through purchasing our services, donating, or sharing our non-profit ranch with others is greatly appreciated.
Join us for the best horseback riding adventures in Southern California, as well as wine tasting and other services we offer. Stay updated on specials, sales, and events by signing up to hear from us. As a small company run by volunteers, please leave a message, text, or email us if we are not able to answer your call right away. Thank you for supporting our mission to care for God's creatures.

"Best trail ride I have ever done! Great guide, beautiful horses, interesting terrain. We did the 2 hour ride and I highly recommend"
"We had a wonderful time at the saddle up wine tours. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A few friends and I signed up for their bronze wine tour package. It was the best way to spend the weekend. While we waited to start the tour we got the opportunity to meet the goats and their two puppies on the property. The horses all had unique personalities which made the tour even more enjoyable. Our tour guide Melanie shared great background of the history of the horse rescue. The wine tasting experience paired with the package was also really wonderful! Would highly recommend."
"Great horseback ride with our guide, Melanie. She kept the convo up while my horse, Mister, did the smooth riding. The trails we went down were effected by the recent fire, but the ride was still beautiful and it’s nice to know the money goes straight towards the horses!"
"Woooo Whaaaat an amazing time we had! The whole team was a gem to work with. Our guide Michael was a champ and took us on a great back country ride. We waited until a little later in the afternoon to get started as it was too hot for the horses - but that worked out great because we were on our way back just before sunset and caught some of the incredible scenery. There’s a gas station / bar / pool room / restaurant down the road called stage coach inn. Would recommend stopping there to pickup water, or snacks, and use the restrooms prior to arriving at the ranch. This is a working ranch with animals and lovely dirt all over so come prepared. All of the horses are rescues and every penny goes to their care so I had no problem tipping and paying a little extra for a good cause. Side note - If you’re looking to volunteer and love horses give them a call. They need the help to keep these beautiful animals well looked after. If you want to ride I would recommend them! PS. Safety First! Wear a helmet when riding - they offer them free of charge. Don’t be embarrassed and snap that brain protector on."
