"The Salt House is AMAZING!! It’s the perfect place to stay in Oxnard whether it’s with family or a group. The location is perfect, literally steps away from Hollywood Beach. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Getting around the area was made easy thanks to the bikes that are available for use. The house itself is clean, spacious, and has everything you need. The beds were super comfortable and house is beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is impeccable. I would 10/10 stay here again. Definitely recommend!!"

It's LITERALLY steps from a gorgeous (basically private) beach, has room for me to relax, for the kids to play, is in a safe and quiet neighborhood, a short drive from great restaurants and shopping... The interior is THE definition of California vibes. Luxurious yet relaxed. We love it here, and will be back soon!"

"The Salt House was such a wonderful and unique location for our vacation. First off, the decor is so fun! It just felt like a happy, cozy, sunshiny place. You can tell that the owner spent lots of time making everything welcoming and comfortable. In the main entryway, there were beach towels set out, and there was even a really cute umbrella and blanket set available to us. The entry floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. We loved the little touches in the bedrooms, like the colorful throw blankets and the fun wall hangings. The main floor has an open floor plan with a living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The primary bedroom on the main floor was super relaxing and comfortable, and we had plenty of room. The top floor had a loft area with couches and another t.v. (great if we wanted separation from the kids). The top floor bedroom felt like an oasis, with a lofted wood beam ceiling, hanging plants and a super comfortable bed. The hidden gem of this house is the rooftop deck. It was such a nice place to relax with a drink. The street was so quiet you could hear the ocean - and there's even a peek-a-boo ocean view! The location of the house felt so unique - we had never been on a beach vacation that felt so private. There was really no traffic on the streets (great for bike riding), and the beach was usually pretty empty. It really felt like we had the place to ourselves! There is a really good restaurant within walking/biking distance (their margaritas were the best!) as well as a coffee shop that served pastries and breakfast sandwiches. We really enjoyed our stay.
