"Clean restroom and very interactive display of water education and reservoir systems at no cost. Thank you!"
"This is the visitor center for the San Luis Reservoir. They have a really cool interactive video about the dam and power/pumping station. You stand in a little room surrounded by 7 screens that make you feel like you are inside the dam Also have a theater where you can choose from a dozen video documentaries about the state water project. Worth the stop. But no picnic tables."
"Very windy on this hill. I wouldn't recommend trying to eat or wear a loose hat in that wind. Beautiful scenes all around. Center has a bunch of learning tools, some of them cool."
"Educational center that provides interactive games, video and audio displays for visitors to learn about the California water system and conservation efforts. The site from center is beautiful as you can see the dam, waterways and terrain from an elevated level. With the right shoes, you can walk down one of the trails to see the waterways up close."
"Nice view of lake and dam. The displays are ok, could use more of them but there is no room. Shamefully only one display of native people on the floor. Also shamelessly displayed are WHITE SUPREMACY ERA PLAQUES, that are dismissive of the native people. You can see all of that and more here. The staff is really nice and bathrooms are clean. Plenty of parking. Be extremely careful turning into the center as oncoming cars are speeding. Definitely stop and see, it's free."
