"A rustic romantic cabin that's quite and cozy, I'll be coming back"

"Very unique, rustic, luxurious one room cabin. I brought my young family here for a quick getaway and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Serenity cabin, which is tucked in at the end of the small road the cabins are on. It is surrounded with redwood trees and definitely has a secluded feel to it. You can see the Morning Light cabin up the road aways, but it doesn’t take away from the beautiful setting. A large redwood deck nestles up to two sides of the cabin with views of the canyon below. The deck has a nice patio table, a couple of lounging chairs, and the highlight of our trip, the outdoor bathtub. We all enjoyed taking turns relaxing in the tub, sometimes on a crisp morning with a cup of coffee, other times in the quiet stillness of the night. I brought my own bath salts, but it’s not necessary since bubble bath soap, soothing bath soap, and handmade soap is all provided. Just beyond the tub is the outdoor facilities. My kids seemed baffled at this at first, but soon took a liking to it. Inside is a small but functional kitchen area. We brought all our meals and had no problem cooking some delicious food for our stay (I did bring my own cast iron skillet since I prefer those). There is a gas fireplace and chairs that is perfect for reading a book by wrapped up in a cozy blanket. It took about 5 minutes before my oldest realized the potential of such a perfect reading space and was soon immersed in his book. The bed was extra comfortable and inviting. The kids were able to sleep on the pull out futon bed. I brought a portable Bluetooth speaker, and our evenings were enjoyed by listening to Classical Latin guitar, chatting, playing cards, and taking turns in the bath. We took advantage of the sandalwood incense provided to round out a simply wonderful time together. We would definitely stay here again, and found it was a very needed respite from our day to day lives."
