"Beautiful, historic, quaint, lovely. A perfect house for a getaway with two families. A block and a half walk to Carmel Beach was very convenient with young kids. If you enjoy history, clean and comfortable beds, and gardens then this place would be ideal for you."

"May 2021-we stayed in the Sky View cottage. Absolutely the most perfect little place, beyond immaculate, and everything you need is right there. Especially loved the roof top deck. Very private. Just perfect! Within safe walking distance into town and one block from the beach. This place is a gem. Take a few minutes to check out the gardens and the moon gate at night. Definitely recommend, if you love a unique home away from home this is your place!"

"The Carmel cottage Inn is located one block from the beach in an enchanting setting of five separate cottages together on one property. The gardens have winding pathways leading up to each individual cottage, some having dutch doors. We were met by the charming owner Cheryl who greeted us to make sure we had everything we needed upon arrival and Calvin the hotel manager was on point in every detail and responsive to our questions during our stay. We were absolutely delighted! Whether you are a party of two or a large family, there’s a cottage to meet your needs. We have frequented several times through the years and Carmel cottage inn is our go-to place to stay! We’ve stayed in Loghaven which is a rustic two-story with real logs, Tradewinds and Moongate. Each cottage has its own charm with comfortable beds, amazing decor, full retro kitchens, fireplaces, everything one could ask for on a memorable vacation. We have many memories in those beautiful cottages… Thank you Cheryl and Calvin for a great experience."

"My husband and I stayed in Moon Gate, and call it The Enchanted Cottage. We can't say enough about our stay there! It was cozy and immaculate, charming and restfully decorated, had all necessities and a well-equipped kitchen - even an apron! The Dutch doors - entry and kitchen - were fun touches. The surrounding gardens are just as charming and unique as the interior! It's a block from the beach and enjoyed the sounds of the sea in our cottage. It's a short, easy, and beautiful walk to shops and restaurants as well. Service was exceptional. Our favorite accommodations anywhere - any of the cottages in fact - by far!"

"Beautiful cottage in a cluster of properties that belong to the Cottage Inn. The one I stayed in, Tradewinds, was gorgeous and meticulously clean, comfortable and providing all the comforts one could expect, including in the kitchen. The hot water for showers appeared unending, even for the fifth person. The heating system worked well and it includes a gas fireplace that makes the room cozy. The neighborhood is quiet and just one block from the beach."
