She always has her smiles on her face and I felt really happy to see her every time I had my visit. She’s also very knowledgeable and responsive for all the questions I asked. She’s my No. 1 choice when selecting OBs in PAMF since Day 1, and I’m now having my second baby but so sad to know she will no longer practice after this year…good thing is at least I can still see her till the end of the year. "I would not recommend Dr. Ecklund or PAMF. Dr. Ecklund was good when I saw her the first time about 3 years ago, but recently, I have lost complete respect for her. If you want a responsive Dr. definitely avoid seeing her as she is not responsive. I had four miscarriages and the first time I miscarried, she was completely out of pocket and other dr. had to step in. The second time I miscarried, she did not follow the proper protocols of testing all my hormones. I had to demand testing. I recently found out I was pregnant again, and given my history, she was unwilling to see me until 8-10 weeks even though she had previously mentioned that I should let her know if I were pregnant again asap so they could check my hormones. Understand that 8-10 weeks in the norm, but it is not norm for patients that have a history of recurring miscarriages. Needless to say, I was able to find another Dr. recommended by my friend who was willing to see me immediately. PAMF is motivated by selling fertility treatments and they don't diagnosis patients carefully. In a nutshell they have become very corporate and big. It's all about making money to support this fancy facilities they built and not investing the root causes of a patient's issue. After my second miscarriage, Dr. White, who was Dr. Ecklund's backup while she was on vacation, contacted me and scared me into getting into IVF immediately. Strange advice, given I was able to get pregnant naturally, each time only after 2-3 months of trying. I hope by writing this review, other folks can avoid going through all the pain and frustrations I have gone through. Please take note that most of Dr. Ecklund's reviews are dated. They were from before PAMF got bought by Sutter Health. The service is completely different now. If you have any miscarriages, particularly recurrent miscarriages, please avoid PAMF at all costs. I am glad I am finally in good hands with a doctor at El Camino Hospital and Bay Area Maternity. I also find it disturbing that PAMF has found some way to hide my yelp review and I had to repost it."
