"I waited for a whole week for the appointment to do MRI test. But when I got there, I found out they canceled my test because the technician is “sick” and pushed my appointment for another week. I asked why not call me before this so that I don’t have to come. They said they called but they were clearly lying. There is no call history at all. The doctor says I cannot wait for another week. So I called to reschedule anything earlier but they won’t do it cause they said they don’t care. Hello? The front desk attitude is arrogant and disrespectful. I tried asking for manager, they told me the manager is not around, then put me on hold forever. In second call, they said they talked to my doctor, I asked which doctor, they cannot answer. They blatantly lie to me in the phone call. I was shocked. Please avoid this clinic at all cost."
"I'm grateful to Sunnyvale Imaging Center and Robert in particular for getting me in last minute for an open MRI. This helped to clarify the problem and pinpoint the pain I was experiencing. Hence, I was able to make more informed choices on treatment options. During the process, the technician was professional and sympathetic to my situation and I felt she really cared/tried to make me comfortable. One negative point was that the waiting room didn't have comfortable seating. I was in a lot of pain and wish I could have laid down or had some cushions for support (no one asked me if I was ok even though I was clearly in pain). Also, I echo other reviewer's point about the archaic system of using CDs to transmit the imaging. I had to email several times and call in order to get the CD sent to me (instead of picking it up). The portal images do not have good resolution. Despite these shortcomings, I would definitely recommend SIC for your imaging needs because they will try to accommodate. (Please note that I paid out of pocket and not with insurance)"
"I have been trying to schedule an appointment at this location since the past two days. I have talked to 4 people on phone only to be put on hold for long wait times. The one person who managed to talk to me told me that I have to send them my insurance information on mail and then wait for 48 hours for the company to validate my insurance. On calling again she told me that the scheduler hasnt even gotten to my doctors request and I need to wait more. I am not sure how this place is running but I am sure at this day and age it doesnt take 2 days to process a doctors referral and schedule an appointment. Not to mention the admin on phone is rude and curt with their responses for no reason at all. I had to request my doctor to refer me elsewhere"
"What a pleasure to work with the whole group at Sunnyvale Imaging. Scheduling was relatively easy, and I could ask for the necessary appointment be when it worked for me. The gals that prepare for the required medical scan are detail oriented and VERY helpful in your prep and following through, after your scan/test, in making sure you leave with the disk. John, in MRI SO friendly and thorough. And your appointments happen on time! Wish the rest of the medical world that I must deal with had the same reputation on all points. Oh well. The only reason they didn't get all 5 stars is that the current on line connection, to see the reports and images, is very difficult to work with."
