"We enjoyed the Go Cars when we first arrived and took the GPS tour to the Golden Gate Bridge and back. Our kids were passagers & love hearing all about where we were along the way! We took the big bus tour the next day and rode the whole tour while getting on and off whenever we pleased. The muni car was our last experience and our family had so much fun on that unique ride in San Fran! This was such a perfect way to enjoy the city!"

"Plan ahead to get the most out of this. Start with the hop on/off bus as you'll get a better idea of where things are. Would be great if hop on/off bus could be used for two days on a two-day card to get to the locations. We managed several venues, including two museums . Made the mistake of asking about the card use while passing Ripley's the day before we planned on activating. A newbie at Ripley's actually activated the pass without our permission and it was a pain to get it reset. It was all supposed to have been sorted out by the Go card office for use the following day, but the following day, it registered as expired on the Hop on/off bus and Museum of Science, where we spent another 45 minutes on the phone sorting it out. Venues should be prepared to answer customer questions when asked-they need training to think like a tourist and respond accordingly. I haven't worked out if it worked out economy-wise-best to stick to higher priced venues to get value."

"The Go Card was the BEST deal for our family trip to San Francisco! We only had a day, so we chose the Explorer Choose 3 Pass. With all the options available, we were VERY pleased to have been able to have public transit ALL DAY, take a Cruise Tour of the entire Bay Area, and stop in at the Aquarium for a delightful look at the sea life. I would recommend the Explorer Pass for ANYONE visiting the Bay Area!"

Yes, you still have to redeem the passes for actual tickets at your venue but that still fast and easy. We loved the flexibilty it gave us to choose when and where we could use it.
