"Jack and Carole are great and take care of all travel needs."
"I've planned several vacations with Jack, Carole, and Clement Travel Services. They've always been SO informative about the locations, sights, and pricing and have always taken into account my needs and my (limited) budget. The agency is also great about taking an idea of a vacation and turning it into a real holiday. What I mean by that is I have definitely come to Jack and Carole with just a place I wanted to visit and they turned it into a wonderful vacation from there. (And they did this from the other side of the country, too!) Booking the tickets and the hotels aren't where the services stop, however. This agency puts together an itinerary book with all your travel information, as well as bonus attractions you might be interested in checking out. Essentially, they're creating a memento for you of your trip. Really, the service here is informative and personal. You'll be in great hands with Clement Travel Services. PS--They'll also make you travel tags for your trip, with their information on it so you never have to worry about lost luggage while you're away; they'll take care of it."
"Over the past 10 years we have often used the services of Jack at Clement Travel with satisfaction for the most part. Recently however, these services have been greatly diminished. On 2 occasions, I have had opportunities for remarkable upgrades to suites on Royal Caribbean cruises. Both came on weekends and required quick action, so I called the office, got voice mail and was helpless to act. Voice mail didn't mention their new hours (unbeknowst to me, now closed on weekends). On the second upgrade opportunity I tried Jack on his cell (again, believing the office to be open) and received a very chilly reception. Needless to say, the upgrade didn't happen. As it turns out, a call to Royal Caribbean explained that since I had booked through a travel agent, R.C. couldn't make the changes without a penalty charge. Had the booking been made directly with them, there would have been no problem with the upgrade. Clement has also booked us into 2 sadly substandard hotels from which to start vacations (El Rancho in Millbrae & a sleazy Courtyard Marriott in Miami). Neither time did we tell them that we were trying to do our trip on the cheap. We took hotel booking responsibilities out of their hands after that and have found wonderful accomodations on our own since then. The truth is, unless a person is completetly inept or inexperienced, TA's aren't really needed (with the R.C. upgrade failure, they were actually a hindrance). We never got a price from Clement on a cruise or an air/vacation package that we couldn't get on our own; indeed, the only reason that we continued to use them was out of loyalty and to support a small local business. The cherry on the top: two days after the upgrade fiasco, I receive a rude email from Jack, telling me not to call his cell again and to go elsewhere for future travel needs. This after booking 10-15 trips with Clement, along with many referrals. No problem, Jack! ."
