"Billy is extremely friendly, easy going and professional. I appreciated his knowledge about the Mendocino eco-system. I felt extremely safe and comfortable. I loved seeing the kelp forest from the kayak. The Mendocino coastline is especially dramatic from the ocean. Ocean kayaking is a great way to experience the natural world and get an "ocean's eye view" of Point Arena! I did my first trip in the fall and I can't wait for whale watching season this coming spring! I'll be back."

"Beginner's surf lesson with Billy - amazing experience! My partner and I had never surfed before and weren't sure how it would go. We had a blast! From the beginning Billy made us feel comfortable and supported and we had fun from beginning to end. Billy was awesome - thanks to his clear and supportive coaching we were standing up on the board after a few tries. We were worried about how cold the water would be but the wetsuits Billy provided (including a hood and booties) kept us warm the entire time. He also used a go pro to make sure we had lots of pictures of ourselves surfing. We were a little late (we went to the wrong address) and Billy not only waited for us, he let us go longer past our 2-hour lesson time. Thanks to this great experience we definitely want to keep surfing."

"Went kayak fishing for the first time. Our guide, Billy, was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. He guided us to some great spots with plenty of fish biting. When we got back to shore, Billy filleted our fish and gave recommendations of how to cook each type. Great way to spend the morning (four hours) while in the area!"
