"I found this highly rated practice through google maps. I used their website to make contact, complete forms, submit documents and schedule. I was surprised that the web site featured expensive skin care products, but learned that the founding doctor has a financial interest in the company. I was contacted by phone to reschedule a first annual exam four months early, which was great for me. They ask patients to arrive 30 minutes early, most of that time was spent waiting in an exam room. I was seen by Dr. CK himself, who said; I was in the right place, did not view my history, asked who did my mohs surgery, and asked why I moved to Eureka. Meanwhile he removed a skin tag that was bothering me, and sprayed liquid nitrogen on a few spots on my face and back. He said my name and I responded, however, that was just a preface to listing a number of issues into his voice recorder while looking in my eyes. He concluded by stating my skin had no big problems and would see me in a year. The exam was about ten minutes. Three days later I check the ckderm website patient portal to see what was recorded, but the record had not been populated. I was impressed with the facilities and the staff. The doctor was very fast and professional. Yet, I did feel less comfortable than with my previous dermatologist, which might be more about the novelty of a new situation than the feeling of a rushed exam with no questions about history, which I volunteered verbally. I can grant him very good credit for an independent assessment and decisive treatment without any lab work."

"I really thought that my CK Dermatology visit was great. The staff were kind and efficient. I did not have a long wait once I got to my appointment. The certified nurse practitioner I saw was wonderful. She explained what was going on with me and took the steps needed to take care of my issue. She gave me a choice of procedures that could work best for me. Very kind and considerate. Her nurse was also the same. The office is beautiful, comfortable, and very welcoming. Thank you all very much for making my experience a good one. I will go back when necessary and will recommend them to others as well. Thanks again."
