"Awesome staff and a lovely room for the night. We were traveling with my sick sister and asked for the room to be warm when we showed up,,, it was perfect Thank you"
"Came in to a room that had not been cleaned. The beds were completely stripped with piles of pillows on it. The garbage were overflowing. But worst of all was opening the toilet and it being plugged full of poop. Very unimpressed. Edit: 2nd room they gave us was completely not ready for new guests yet. 3rd room is fine but the TV is stuck in a nightlight style mode (can be unplugged) and the floor is wet under the heater."
"Miner's Inn is a dog friendly motel and was okay for one night. I would actually like the room/building better in summer with the sliding glass door exiting out to a small patio in the rear of the motel. There is a long green strip of grass there where dogs can do their business. I was there in Jan. and it is a soggy mess. The entry door was located away from the stairwell and that helped cut down on noise from upstairs. A nice size bathroom with a tub and second sink outside the door with good lighting. I would have liked to have taken a shower but there was no soap in any dispenser on the tub wall. The beds were okay, but I wasn't expecting two full size beds. A queen fits me and my partner better. No biggie for one night. I didn't find the cleanliness to be a high rating such as on reviews, but having a mini fridge (no freezer for blue ice ) and microwave was helpful. The breakfast was good and had plenty of options for all diets. Parking is all over the complex."
"Yuck, that sums it up Booked a pet friendly room and paid $15 each for our two goldendoodles to stay with us. We got into the room and got comfortable and stepped on one pile of dog poop in the corner that was all dried up and old was behind a table and then cleaned that up and then stepped on another pile of sticky dog poop that was old but still moist enough to stick to my foot. It was incredibly gross. We had to put chairs against the corner of the room where the dog poop was to keep our dogs away from it. We told the clerk about it. She did not seem concerned and did not give us any apologies or monetary return. Not even our $30 pet deposit even though we had to clean up somebody else's dog poop. So pretty gross place overall. Nightstand was dirty. Hadn't been dusted recently. The breakfast was also gross Frozen microwavable breakfast burritos and disgusting scrambled eggs with hard dried up potatoes. Not enough tables for people to sit at. The attendant was rude. Will never stay there again."
"I chose the Miner's Inn due to its proximity of a job I'll be doing for the next three months. I had no idea what to expect, and the website promoted clean and exceptional service. Although my bed, shower, and toilet were clean the first night. In a weeks' stay, my room was never touched even though I requested from the GM and I put a door hanger on the outside of the door requesting to service the room. That was disappointing. This motel suffers from lipstick on a pig. Meaning yes it's been slightly "updated" but only with paint and lamps. Many electrical things did not work in my room including a broken TV remote. I accidentally clogged the toilet one morning. Spoke to the counter person that morning only to find out that evening it was not unclogged. Ice machine was a hike, and the one closest to me did not work. Breakfast items need refilled constantly; that never happened. It's very obvious that the owner of the motel doesn't want to invest money into it to make it what it should be. The owner has an opportunity to make it great but will require significant investment, but that's business. I can get along with basic stuff but even the most basic stuff in the room was inoperable with no customer service. Unless they make me a screaming deal. I'm going to choose somewhere else for the next three months of my job to take my money."
