Silver Pines Lodge

"Silver Pines Lodge has been a special place to us for nearly 10 years. My fiancé and I would book the Vista cabin every year. It has always been such a special place to us. When we moved out of state, we talked about how much we missed “our cabin in the mountains”. We recently moved back to California and our first trip was of course, Silver Pines Lodge. We even got our Vista cabin. The front desk staff are so friendly and accommodating, the cabins have everything you need for a weekend away and the grounds are beautiful. You cant beat the location, just off the main square and walking distance to everything, we love everything about Silver Pines and plan to come back for many years to come."

"Customer service was great. They have rooms and cabins available for all sizes of groups. I stayed in #7 and it was very nice with deck by the creek. Had full kitchen which was really nice"

"The staff was nice but the owner was not professional and would not communicate. This was our first trip to Idyllwild and we brought our family to stay at Rachel's Cottage. The house was perfect for our stay with large rooms, a beautiful kitchen and three separate bathrooms. On the negative side, the bathroom shower near the laundry room was unusable. We reported to the staff that the shower drain was backing up onto the floor. The staff was supposed to send someone over to fix it and no one ever came The counter microwave did not function properly. The oven in the stove didn't work. The front panel to turn it on and set the temperature was unresponsive. For the rates we were charged, we didn't expect to have these issues, but we dealt with them because we loved the area. The final insult, was that we were charged an extra $60 in our bill. We were told by the staff that we broke the coffee maker. WE DIDN'T EVEN USE THE COFFEE MAKER! I brought a large box of Keurig pods (that's all I use at home) and all we used was the Keurig machine. We explained this to the staff to which they replied that the owner would call us. THEY NEVER CALLED and we received a $60 charge on our credit card. This is unethical and unprofessional behavior. Beware when renting from Silver Pines!"

"This is the only place my partner and I stay at when visiting Idyllwild, and it's been a perfect experience every time. The cabins are cozy with fun themes, the customer service is exceptional, and the pricing is reasonable. The owner is also very friendly and accommodating. Couldn't recommend more!"

"THIS PLACE IS A MUST STAY!!! This is my second time visiting silver pines lodge and once again the staff and rooms were excellent! Each room is unique in its own way, but all provide a cozy feeling while you’re in the mountains! The prices are unbeatable and overall the place is built to perfection. It is right next to all the stores and restaurants which made it extremely easy to go to multiple places in our one trip! There’s always something beautiful to look at from the private koi fish pond to the antique pieces of history down in the lobby:)! Overall this place has such a calming atmosphere that brings peace!"
