"Great show and bar! I enjoyed the access to the comedians following the show."
"Ever been at the Shelton theater? It’s a super small comedy theater, the 5 comedians yesterday 7/21/23 were hilarious! The bar only serves drinks, if you want to eat before Del Popolo is around the corner, 2nd best pizza spot in the city!"
"Cheaper Than Therapy was an incredibly funny, witty, and charming experience. Just what we hoped to find after such a long period of being shut-ins during the thick of the pandemic. All of the comics brought their A game, ready to crack some hilarious jokes--sometimes at hecklers or audience members' expense!! It was a nice, clean theatre setup, and the seating was intimate. 10/10 recommend to anyone who wants a great laugh, especially travelers looking to spice up their night on the town."
"I had been here before, to enjoy a show in the basement that was mostly a troupe simply shouting as loud as they could. It was seriously unpleasant. But some of the other shows I have seen here upstairs have been amasing, and the drinks in the great bar in the back have always been fantastic. So, this evening, I wandered in to see if they had any tickets available for a show. The woman in the ticket booth told me that there were some tickets still available for one of the shows - but that there were people behind me in line who already had tickets, and that I was blocking the way. Instead of selling me a ticket, she told me to get out. I asked the bartender downstairs if there was a house manager, as I still wanted to see the show still available and wanted to find a way to make it work. She told me there was no manager, and to stop bothering her if I didn’t want to order a drink. The people working at this place are the rudest people of any theatre I have ever patronised. Find somewhere else to go. The people here are terrible."
