"So what it’s a little old and dusty! The owner is an absolute gentleman and very knowledgeable. They always have fresh mice and rats available when other pet stores don’t. They will kill and/or fresh freeze on demand. Just call ahead."

"I have traveled multiple pet shops in Sacramento that are family owned, but never did I think I would walk into a pet shop so disturbing, unsanitary, and uncared for animals. I walk into College Green Pet Center near the Folsom Flea Market with my mom planning to expand my Parakeet and Cocktail family at home... But seeing their selection of birds, their cages were filled with up to 15 to 10 bird in a cage only able to fit 4 and , giving the bottom shelf a better glance we saw 4 Parakeet DEAD, 1 half alive and dead, the rest miserable, ill, and unhappy... I tried addressing these issues to a woman working there with lavander hair, and all she said was, " Oh well." and left them in their cage... WITH NO CARE AT ALL... Leaving the half dead, to die... NO BIRD OR ANY ANIMAL SHOULD LIVE IN THESE CONDITIONS... If I had the money, I would rescue them all and get them the hell out of there... THIS PLACE MUST BE SHUT DOWN. IMMEDIATELY!!!!"

"This place should NOT be allowed to have animals. Today was only 80 degrees outside and it was so hot inside the business and no air flow, I cannot imagine what it's like in there on Sacramento's 100 degree weather days. We were looking for baby guinea pigs and although they had 4, at least two of them I'm sure will be dead soon. They were drinking out of disgusting green, moldy water bowl. The birds are all so packed in there and just gross and unkept. I left there feeling so sad. We were there for maybe 3 mins before needing to get the heck out. This place should not be allowed to have ANY live animals. So so sad."

"Great selection and great prices! The animals here are well cared for. Every weekend they set up a Couple tables at the side entrance to the flea market on the weekends. We got some banny Jens and a tarantula from them."
