"We were looking for a quick little get away from the city live and booked a sport here for a week. It was quiet, our spot was pretty level, and the hookups worked great. Relaxing in the indoor hot spring pool was amazing."
"Beautiful campground with the cleanest bathrooms you've ever seen. We were lucky enough to receive a visit from a bighorn sheep too! Will definitely be coming back next year."
"Great place to come after a day hike through the desert. Relaxing and chill. We just paid the $3 entry fee and soaked for an hour, ate our lunch on the patio and enjoyed the scenery. The rock formations are bright white striped with ribbons of orange. Really fascinating if you enjoy that side of nature."
"Beautiful clean bathrooms. Hot springs mineral pools were so disappointing. The indoor big pool had water which was barely warm and two of the nights the weak jets didn’t work. The outdoor hot tub was only 88 degrees. We didn’t even bother. Showers at the pool were not hot or strong. The indoor pool closed at 5 pm except on Friday and Saturday nights. Mark at the general store is a couple blocks from the camp and is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. He’s really great! Spots are really close together. Great hikes."
"We were lucky enough to reserve a premium site, the tent sites and partial hookup sites are incredibly close together, like 10-12’ from others tents, fire rings and tables. If you have an awning or slide out expect to be a foot from your neighbors rig. The campground is remote, with no cell or Wifi service…unless you hike to the top of the Watchman Trail….it’s better there than 4 miles up the road! Quiet desert camping, perfect weather October/November. The 3 hot spring pools are nice, especially the indoor one at 102 degrees. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Most sites are level. Store nearby, good for water or wood but other than it look like I dumped all my unopened expired pantry items on a table for sale - and closed T/W. Note, keep your dogs leashed and nearby! Our neighbors dog got freaked out after a bunch of coyotes started howling only to take off into the desert and was not recovered. Super sad."
