"My husband and I had the best time staying at The Wikiup for our anniversary weekend. Chris was attentive, a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. "This place is just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Such a serene place, with a secluded feel while at the same time being conveniently close to the cute town of Julian. We came last year for our anniversary, and again this year for our anniversary. It was just as wonderful the second time. The llamas are so much fun to feed. The room is clean and has such fun decor. We stay at Stargazer when we come, and we love the private jacuzzi. The bed is the most comfortable in the world, and we get the best sleep here. Thank you, Chris, for your wonderful hospitality."

"Really beautiful grounds. Chris, the host was very available and attentive. We stayed in the Stargazer room. It was well appointed and the bed was so comfortable! I loved the privacy of the deck and the hot tub just for two. It was a perfect way to spend Christmas away from the city."

"We really loved our stay here. It's right outside of the town center but still very, very quiet. We stay in Shady Lady, and it was really nice; quaint and very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Sitting in the wood fired cedar hot tub on the balcony while snow was falling was wonderful as well. We fed the llamas and goats each day and it was a really fun experience. Chris is a really great host, attentive and focused on making your stay comfortable."

"We just finished a stay here and it was just the most amazing! My husband and I wanted somewhere peaceful to stay for our 15 year anniversary and this was above and beyond. Chris just bought this place and is doing great taking over and made our stay so nice. We stayed in the Shady Lady, which is the best room for privacy. We had our own balcony and wood fire powered hot tub. The llamas and goats are so much fun to feed and you will hear birds during the day and crickets and frogs at night. I would seriously move into this place full time if I could! I look forward to returning and seeing what other improvements Chris and his team make!"
