"This is a well priced, gorgeous little spot close to San Diego, but feels like a world away. My family of 4 humans and 2 dogs stayed in the Cedar Cabin, it was really comfortable and cute. The views out all the windows were so nice and it's just a few minutes away from lots of great hiking trails. We will definitely be returning, this was a great place and a great value. You should bring your own puzzles or games, as the cabin didn't have any. There are also no oils or spices in the kitchen so make sure to bring all of that with you. The wood they sold to us was a little damp so bringing some firestarters is also a good idea. Some of the roads on the grounds are dirt and during our visit were muddy, depending on your vehicle and the weather conditions you may want to ask about the road to your site before you book. My only sort of complaint was that dogs that live on the grounds are sometimes loose- they were friendly and it wasn't a big deal but in case your dogs are nervous around strange dogs it's something to be aware of."

"My family and I had a wonderful time in the Kestrel Yurt. It had everything we needed and we specifically loved the location of this yurt. It was surrounded by many gorgeous tress but not covered by trees and there was a nice view out the back window. The info pages they send in advance and ease of contact was wonderful! I was able to text them directly to ask about snow and that was very helpful! There was A LOT of snow when we went, they kept the roads clear. The only thing that was sort of unexpected was that there were not normal outlets, they do have USB wall outlets for charging. Keep that in mind, maybe I missed that in the initial info. We will be back!"

"This is a luxury cabin getaway. Just bring what you need and enjoy being truly away from it all. This is the 3rd year in a row my daughter and I chose Bailey's on Palomar to host our annual girl's relaxation getaway! We always have a great time! The rooms are clean and so unique. The staff have always been super friendly and very accommodating. This year was extra special because it was the first time we brought the dog and the first time my daughter saw it snow! Can't wait to go back next year!"

"The yurts exceeded our expectations! The heater works amazing and it's like a perfect hotel room suite in nature. Good sized fridge and stove made it easy to cook meals. Having a private deck and fire pit was so nice. The playground with zip line and petting zoo were favorites of the kids."

"Property was a beautiful and well taken care of getaway. The Cedar Cabin was very well appointed, comfortably sized for a family, had gorgeous views, and felt secluded even though it was only a short walk away from the center of the property. It looked even better/bigger in person than in the photos on the website, with new living room furniture and new queen sleeper sofa too. Our kids loved the extensive playground, fishing in the pond, and visiting the petting farm, all within 10 minutes walk. We stayed 3 nights and didn't leave the property even though we'd been expecting to need to. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and kind, and any questions we had during our stay could be conveniently asked/answered via text message. Highly recommend for a relaxing family vacation and experiencing the outdoors without giving up convenience or comfort!"
