The Tides Laguna Beach

"We were very excited to stay here since the photos online looked amazing. What we didn’t see online is the tiny room WITHOUT a window or any daylight and a weird smell. We had to keep the door open to get some air flow, but with that came the dog smell from the people above (we love dogs don yet me wrong) The bed was comfy but very shaky. Sadly won’t come back"

"First I want to point out that the Tides does not put bogus add on charges for parking or resort fees. When comparing prices you will find other properties are almost double after fees. The Tides looks great. Everything is taken care of. The grounds are perfect. The pool are looks great. Check in was very easy. The desk clerk was very nice. The room was clean and modern. The bed was perfect. We have found our new Laguna spot."

"This is a sweet, modest, clean hotel with tiny rooms and pretty much in the heart of Laguna beach. A big bonus is that there is free parking and enough parking spaces for everyone. The room was very clean, old furniture, but comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. And the pool is clean and inviting looking. For me a place being clean is a big deal and this place was very clean and nice. We could barely see the ocean from our window but even that was a bonus. :) For an inexpensive hotel in Laguna Beach, I think this is a very good choice. My husband and I were very happy staying there."

"A very nice little hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the king room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It looks like it was remodeled recently in a retro tile style. The bathroom and shower were spacious. Free parking and a functional kitchenette. It’s a short walk to restaurants and the cliffs. We have stayed in several hotels in Laguna over the years, and we will certainly use the Tides again."
