Crescent Bay Inn Laguna Beach

"This place is an affordable place to relax in the North side of Laguna Beach . Is approximately 1.3 miles to go downtown. If you like want to go dinning or walk around shops and art galleries in Downtown , you can drive or take the Trolley. This hotel does t have many places to eat around maybe a burger joint and q convenient store across the street but that was about if you want to stay here to relax and have a quite time this is it but is nothing fancy . The Rooms are clean , the bed is comfortable. The shower is great . There is access to the beach if you go along the fence all the way down 3 mi s walk .Crescent bay is beautiful and no too crowded. I really loved the beach . We will probably stay south Laguna next time like we usually we like to enjoy the night walking to ases we can have a drink and not to worry about the trolley only running until 10 pm . Customer service was good ."

"Great little Hotel in walking distance to the beach. Rooms are very comfortable with a modern contemporary feel. Very clean. Coffe maker fridge and microwave are available. Ocean view a plus Highly recommendable."

"This place is a perfect example of location, location, location. Came to Laguna Beach on a Saturday to see the Pageant of the Masters. Paid $300+ for a 1 night stay. The place is no better than your typical Motel 6. Just a basic room. No pool, no spa, no view. Place is old. Looks like a converted apartment building. Had an upstairs room. Stairs were Steep and narrow. King sized bed was comfortable and had 2 pillows. Asked for a couple more. They gave us one. Small refrigerator and microwave were in the bathroom across from the toilet. Stopper in sink was missing. Floor tile was dirty and missing grout. Spots in the walls had been patched and not repainted, A/C unit was noisy. No breakfast. Did have a coffee maker and some water bottles in the room. Parking is an issue. Our room looked nothing like the pictures on the web site. Would not recommend. On the open road, this is a $60-80 room. Good luck."

"The location, friendly staff, and comfortable beds made this location perfect for our family of 5. We also really enjoyed the shower which had a nice waterfall type shower head. It is only a few minute walk to the nicest beach! We saw starfish, little tide pools, lots of shells, and it was just so very beautiful. The only con is no breakfast and if you don’t have a vehicle expect to walk at least 10 minutes for anything. I walked to grocery store and bought enough things for breakfast. There is a few nice tables set below the rooms outside to eat at, which we did regularly. There is also a trolley that goes fairly close to the location. I would definitely recommend. It isn’t fancy per day, but the price was very good and we felt it was clean and I can personally say the owner is an invested and caring man."

"I was here 4 years ago with girlfriends and I thought it was a nice place but the front desk person was not friendly. Forward 4 years later, my experience have been different. The front desk manager, Sal, has been super friendly and accommodating. He's been very thoughtful and suggested different things we could do while in town. The upgrades of the room is a great addition. Room is clean and smells pleasant when you walk in. I appreciated our time here."
