"My husband and I had a last minute staycation for my birthday. The front desk person was very inviting with a complementary glass of wine and helpful guide of the hotel. Loved the fire pit and the coziness of the cafe lights, ocean views. Very clean rooms and incredible cozy bed and perfect beach vibe decor. The bonus was, the beautiful walk along the beach path to main beach and all the downtown restaurants. Can't wait to rebook. Denise"

"I'm updating this review as the previous one was based on our first night experience. We stayed two nights total and I really enjoyed our stay. The retro surf style is fun with just the right amount of kitsch. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The AC (standard motel under the window type) works very well. We like our room chilly and the AC did not disappoint. When we first got into the room we noticed that the sink drained slowly. The problem was fixed within an hour by a very friendly maintenance staff. The front desk staff was polite and very helpful, even in the middle of the night getting warm water for a baby bottle or fresh towels or whatever. The pool is teensy but serviceable and the hot tub served the purpose. The rates feel a little high for what you get, but I think all the hotels in Laguna come at a 20-30% premium just due to the location. Speaking of location, LBH is perfectly placed for a walking experience of the main part of Laguna Beach. There's a beach walk directly behind the hotel that takes you up and down the coast, and many restaurants, shops and galleries are just minutes away on foot. I highly recommend for a relatively inexpensive but comfortable place to stay."

"Spent two nights here. The very next day started to see bites and several days after as well. No doubt bed bugs from this location. Most people do not realize they have been bitten until bite marks appear anywhere from one to several days after the initial bite. Let me make this clear. We stayed two nights and did not notice any bites until the next day after I checked out. This is all consistent with bites from the visit there. If you care about this please refund my card."

"Laguna Beach House was great for me and my three daughters. Location within walking distance of some beautiful beach coves and restaurants. Boutique hotel offered cute rooms with a balcony and we enjoyed the pool each day as well. Wine and fresh cookies each day were a highlight for our stay. Would definitely stay here again!"

"My husband and I stayed the night on 6/17/23. We had such a great experience when checking in with Nicole & Marianna. They both had AMAZING customer service and gave our dog Cooper lots of love. He felt part of the family. The rooms are very clean and beautiful and the location is great. When we went to check out on Sunday, 6/18/23, Alain was superb with his customer service. All three of them deserve a BIG THANK YOU for making everything a great experience."
