"Great hotel staffing is there .but for 140 dollars and no cable or signal for tv isn't good. clean rooms and nice restroom. They just need To work on there satellite cable. And to mention the parking is really compact a car hit my car and they didn't have access to the video cameras even as the police showed ."
"The reason I give this hotel a two star rating is because they banned my friend from helping me out when I was in a situation where I had no ID at the time. now I’ve been to other hotels before in California and outside of California and yet not many hotels care if you have a hardcopy or not as long as you have some type of identification on you that they can see it is OK for them, but this hotel is a whole Nother story."
"My sheets and pillow cases had black shoe prints and orange stains on them like hot sauce or ketchup. Holes in the curtain, falling off the wall. This is literally the worst hotel I've stayed at in my life and I travel a lot. I did not feel safe here people outside my door all night yelling, screaming and loud music. I would've felt better sleeping in my car."
"This place is clean and fun. They have a lights/disco ball, mirrors and a window to see into the shower. You can adjust the lights to your liking. Every room is a different theme."
"Okay well this place is a mixed bag. I mean, so, okay. I am a knitwear designer and when I saw the jungle room online I was overjoyed with an idea I had for a photo shoot of which my niece model's for me. I never knew such a thing like themed rooms existed. I am always looking for them for creative projects. I appreciate Raul taking the time to show me the room the day before. Then he explained to me about how they did not do long terms stays, which I did not fully understand apparently because I just wanted to book two/three days, be creative and be out. I guess I was not thinking that they ONLY book by the night. So I came back the next day to check in and book for the two days. But once I got in the room it occurred to me to call the front window and ask them the process by which I could check in and out. Raul gave me the okay for my niece to come as I was told no visitors, and that only two people are allowed. The lady at the front window told me that I would check out at 11am and I would not be able to check back in until 3pm. I was super bummed because I figured I could keep my stuff in the room check out at 11am check back in and my niece would arrive at 11am so that we could work. Unfortunately this place was a bust for my vision and the amount I paid for one night only to be stuck in a jungle doing nothing except for setting my alarm and going to sleep so I could be out the next day. Being that I thought I had read all the interviews for this place I went back and realize that maybe this place is for one thing only. I don't know how I missed that. lol. The walls were very thin and at some point the tv came on next door to me and I heard moaning on the volume and someone cut it all the way down. Now let me say. The shower was cool okay, a normal spout and a rain spout and a bench to sit on which I did not. It was pretty spacious for what it was. But I realized, no closet or desk. The fountain in the room would have been more relaxing if it did not just sound like a tub filling up with water. More of a trickle would have been nice. I woke up to looking at myself in the mirror above me, not sure why I would want to see that, but whatever. And look if I could give the bed 100 stars I would. The bed was perfectly comfortable. That part was way right! So look, the petite Indian lady, very sweet and nice. Raul was a tough cookie to start, very stern about the rules and making sure people follow them, but when I my car was packed and I went to turn in the key, he asked if my niece would still come and I told him that unfortunately the gap in time would not work for what I wanted to do and besides my nieces was not feeling well from oral surgery. He offered to hold a room for me if I decided to come back and actually smiled a little. My heart went a little soft. Oh yes and I forgot to say that I had never been in this area before. I at least got the chance to go to In IN Out at night to eat some food in the parking lot like everyone else. Also Whittier Blvd has everything you need from stores, to shopping, to markets. I mean everything. So the area was nice and historic. Oh yes, and no one is going to keep charging their card over and over so one night is all is it. No microwave on site, no vending machine. There was a baby crying when I left and another family was leaving too and I thought "oh nice, a family" And still I was like, what is this place for? Family, get couple's get away. Like I said a super mixed bag. Overall, I was not at ease because I knew I only had time to sleep and then leave. I did not feel very comforted in this place."
