"It's not functional at this time, but it's a very beautiful place. I was there for work. It now serves as an emergency shelter we are now in the process of moving the people out into permanent housing."

"As of right now, the state of the LA grand Hotel has not been in operation for a couple of years since 2020 to be precise. This is due to the fact of, it was bought out during the pandemic to accommodate people in need of shelter for prevention of cOVID-19 in elderly, homeless, and as well as support in elimination of homelessness. they eventually opened it up to the age ranges of all with the exception kids, I believe. I live here at the LA Grand so this is how I know. It was ran by the Salvation Army, but now it is ran by the Weingart Company."
