"Called Jim on a Wednesday after having my car at a dealership to look at my 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen for a different issue and found oil leaking from the filter canister and the oil pan. I explained to Jim what parts the dealer said they'd need and where it was leaking and said he could get the parts in one day and would be able to have my car fixed first thing at 8am on the Friday the same week! When I arrived shortly before 8, Jim was very professional and greeted me to the shop, showed me the parts he'd be installing, and said it would take about 1.5 hours to fix. He started I left the shop shortly after 8 and got a call from him before 9:30 that my car was done and ready to be picked up. Not only does he stand by his word, he does great work for a great price! He even answered my questions about specific torque settings to use for future oil changes as I plan to do them myself! He was true to the quote he gave me over the phone for the parts and labor, and I saved over $200 by going to him versus the dealership! Even though I live an hour away, Jim's Bug Center will definitely be the first place I take my VW for any future car issues! 7/10/23 - Just brought my 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen to Jim's Bug at 80,000 miles for oil change, tune up, and routine inspection. He answered the phone right away and was easy to get on the schedule. After inspecting my vehicle and before starting work on the car he gave me a run-down of what he saw that needed replacing and how much everything would cost. The replacement parts and fluids he uses are top of the line and only products you'd want in your car to give it the longest life. Everything was completed by mid afternoon when initially told me they should be finished with it and with no surprises on the final bill. If you're looking for a great mechanic, look nowhere else. Take your VW to Jim's!"

"Jim’s Bug Center is the “real deal”. This auto shop, where I take the Audi and BMW for oil changes, tune ups, and repairs ( new brakes, oil pan repair, etc), is reasonably priced, efficient, and customer focused. They literally go out of their way to service my vehicles. A recent example is to find a “key” for my wheel locks so they could service my brakes. The auto dealer that sold me my used vehicle ( Brookfield Toyota) blew me off. Jim’s found the solution to the problem at little cost. And after 5 Minute Oil change screwed up the oil pan on the Audi (which Jim’s repaired) I am committed to the best service by going to Jim’s."
