"Reading some of the recent reviews from other people, I wish I had seen them sooner. I made the mistake of getting work done twice on my car here this week and let me tell you, it was a mistake. I’ve also noticed that Tires Plus basically only responds to complaints from women. (Hey guys, I get it, women have a lot stronger influence. But way to publicly show how pathetic you are.) To anyone reading this review, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. If you’re still on the fence, read my story below… I’m just going to throw some facts out here, rather than injecting my opinion: I came in for a couple new tires, (about $360) and an alignment, which is $112. No other known issues, was using the car as a daily driver for 3 years. I received a call saying they couldn’t do the alignment because I needed both control arms and a tie rod replaced before I could get an alignment. I was also told I needed my fluids filled and an oil change, which was odd, since I just added oil and checked fluids. I declined most of the work, knowing I didn’t need it. Then I was told my wheel was going to fall off if I didn’t get all the advised work done. Strange and unprofessional thing to say, but I’m not easily intimidated. I asked for the work to be done and went to get my car later. No one told me it was done, so I just went there. Good thing I did, too. They were just going to keep my car overnight and I would have been stranded. The next day as I’m driving home from work, my wheel almost fell off. What an odd coincidence. I had it towed back to the shop and told them they needed to fix whatever was wrong with my car. They of course took no responsibility and said it would be $1,300 to fix my car this time. I got my car back the second time, now my passenger door creaks loud and is harder to open. Looks like something damaged the bottom of my car. Tires Plus denied even touching the door. What an odd coincidence again. I got my car home and checked my fluids because my power steering was acting up, to my surprise, all of my fluids were very low. What an odd coincidence for the third time. I met and talked to most of the people who worked there and only had negative encounters with them. One thing is for certain- if Tires Plus in Waukesha tells you that a part needs to be replaced, you’re going to end up replacing it one way or another. Strange how coincidences like that just seem to happen."

"Tried to rip off my 86 year old mother. Told her she had washer fluid in her brake reservoir. Gonna cost her $2400. I happen to be in the car business and took the vehicle to my dealership. 2 different techs, with a total of 45 years experience assured me that there was absolutely nothing wrong. Avoid this place at all cost. Total scumbags."

"I like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately my experience was very poor. I’ve been here several times for tires, wheel alignments, etc. and a few months ago I went in again to get my brake pads replaced. Was told I needed my struts and a few other items replaced as well, ended up spending 2 grand but I figured it needed to be done. Noticed a day or two later that my driver side wheel well was torn up, lug nuts broken off and not properly attached. But honestly I didn’t want to deal with it which is on me of course, so I let it sit and finally I decided this past week to go in and get it resolved as well as get an oil change since I was dropping off my car. I went in, deciding to get this repaired and an oil change. Receive a call later after dropping it off, agree to another thousand dollars of services on top of what I had brought it in for. When I arrive to pick it up I pay and walk out only to see that the wheel well on my car was still in tatters and completely untouched. I walk back in and ask the front desk guy who says they must not have seen anything wrong with it, to which I bring him out and show him. He can see the very clear damage, examines it briefly and tells me “Oh, we can’t fix that. You’ll need to go to a dealership.” So I left, what else was there to say after it clearly hadn’t been looked at despite being the main reason I brought my car in? Hard to tell if it was just careless negligence or if I was just outright taken advantage of, but I’m very disappointed. It was after my girlfriend noticed some rusty lug nuts just sitting discarded beneath my windshield wipers today, likely from my recent service visit, that I decided it was worth the time to leave this review."
