Reviews
"I don't ever write reviews but this one is well deserved. I stayed at Pismo Sands for 3 months and I loved my time here. Everything from the kind and caring staff, the friendly neighbors all around to the hot tub soaks after a hard days work. I had a great stay here and hope to make it back again. 10 out of 10 recommend. You truly pay less and get more!"
"Excellent location, amendities and experience. As first-time RVers we didn't know what to expect and if this park was standard or not but we were very happy with our stay. After continuing to two other parks I can say of the 3 this one was the best. The RV spacing, office/store hours and amenities were top notch. Thank you!"
"The positive reviews of Pismo Sands are accurate! Really like Pismo Sands for an extended stay. But this place gets 5 stars because of three special “stars”that are incredibly helpful and friendly! Stormie, Wendy and Christina thank you from, John, Virginia and Sally"
"I've been coming to Pismo Sands for the past 5yrs. Each time has been a great experience. The staff is very professional and friendly with helping us navigate throughout our stay. The rules here at the resort are strict but also allows you to have a good time whether its playing music, dancing, playing games, swimming or enjoying your time in the game room. The resort is very clean and kid friendly. The cleaning staff is always making their rounds ensuring it is clean and safe. I was there during the week of the 4th and was approached by elderly couple that was in site 69 who complained about music being loud and kids running and riding bikes screaming at 4pm in the afternoon. If dancing to celebrate independence day is a crime then Pismo Sands wouldn't be what it is today. Its just the opposite!!! Everyone comes to Pismo to have a great time because the Manager expectations is very clear for all campers to be respectful to everyone camping at the Resort."
"YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO HAVE FUN! I understand and even appreciate expectations and rules; however, there is a point were you go over board. This whole trip I was justifying to my wife and friends about the strictness. I said they are just trying to create a safe and clean zone. BUT THEN, our kids checked out the air hockey equipment. It’s cheap, holes in the table and the hand held devices are cheap. Our kids let another group of kids play and the had hockey device fell apart. We were honest and let the front office know and THEN…a $5 charge for broken device. Never in my history of playing air hockey has one broken. You cannot charge for buying cheap products. Also be careful, if you are parked even slightly wrong an email will be sent to everyone currently staying at the park to shame you. In addition, they make a big deal about their grass and maintaining it, but it is mostly weeds that are green. Not to mention this is CA, we are perpetually in a drought. I really wanted to like this place, but I highly doubt we will be coming back. In response to the reply: You are reaching to try to justify yourself. The equipment is cheap and flimsy, without question, and not a deliberate act. Though good on you for failing to take responsibility for ordering cheap and flimsy equipment and blame it on children. Though it was not even my children that broke it. In the spirit of being friendly and not selfish with other guests we said they could play around. It is okay though take the $5. Without a doubt, I will not be returning. I also HIGHLY encourage others not visit, especially if you are visiting with children. This place will not take responsibility and instead justify themselves to the point of being ridiculous."
