"Jessica was an absolutely fantastic manager! We were contacted the day of our check in to see what our arrival time was and she offered an after hours check in for our convenience. Had no idea their offices closed early so that was very convenient. The motel has plenty of street parking and our room was clean with plenty of room amenities. Fridge, microwave, ironing board, USB charging stations, bath and body works toiletries in the stand up shower. Location was perfect as well! Walking distance to the pier and especially Giovanni's and there's a bar just up the street that has live music on the weekends. Not sure if it was off season but the rates are phenomenal for the location and room design! Thank you again, Pleasant Inn, for a pleasant stay. :)"

"I don't know why the good reviews, how someone can give this place more than two stars. Not even in a third world country you'll find a motel like this. No air conditioning, spare old furniture were used to decorate the room, squeaky bed we couldn't enjoy the stay (we were trying to have a nice little brake from family life). The restroom has no vanity, there is just a super small corner sink and a kindergarten type toilet. The kitchenette is a bunch of old cheap appliances put together with no cabinets. The person that works at the reception is the same that clean the rooms. Stay away from pleasant inn. The only good thing is that Morro Bay is beautiful and relaxing."

"I cannot say enough good about this place. The room was by far the cleanest I have ever stayed in, it was decorated so nicely, the bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet. The office was very communicative and accommodating of my late check-in time. Had zero issue getting checked in or out. They are also incredibly pet friendly. The manager and my dog absolutely loved each other, and she was kind enough to give me an extra blanket to help make him comfortable. I could not have hoped for a better stay for my birthday trip and I don't plan on ever going to another hotel in the area."

"The rooms are nice but that's about it. We had kids running up and down the walkway until 11 at night pounding on our door every 5 minutes, the neighboring room had there TV on so loud it seemed we were watching it in our room. There was also the issue of what appeared to have been a homeless couple who have set up shop in a blue van in the parking lot out at all hours of the night smoking. With no staff on site at night these are some pretty big issues. I wouldn't recommend this place."
