"A must stay on the PCH, our room had views of the bay right on the water. From our balcony we could hear the water gently wash ahore, and hear the bay seals on an island in the bay. Located in an idyllic and quaint little fishing village, with easy walks through town and along the water. This Inn is modernized and very clean and roomy, the bathroom is one of the nicest we've ever seen."

"A luxury hotel in many ways, with amazing staff, but a more complicated stay than their (cheaper) sister property Estero Inn. Noise insulation from the restaurant below (died down at 10) could be improved, and while the sound of distant sea lions at night is kind of enchanting, I was glad to have earplugs. Lack of blackout curtains at this price is surprising, especially given that the view from my room looked out on the roof of a nearby restaurant and parking lot (with amazing views of the harbor and half of morro rock from the private room balcony). The mattress was a super cushy box spring which will be great for some but I slept poorly on it. 270/night really does not make sense for this property (especially paying 50/n more than Estero for slightly more space and a nicely pitched-roof ceiling). Make sure to set the heat on the minisplit before going to bed if you visit in winter or you will wake up very chilly. Blanket provided was pretty thin."

"Outstanding hotel! Located on the embarcadero and just steps from the water, restaurants and shopping. Exceptionally friendly owners and staff. Very clean rooms and comfy beds with all the amenities. All rooms have beautiful partial or full views of the bay and rock. They even provided binoculars in rooms for viewing the seals and otters on the bay. Will definitely be coming back!"

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Anderson Inn in Morro Bay, and it exceeded all expectations. The rooms were not only impeccably clean but also boasted a modern and inviting ambiance. The bathroom was a standout feature, featuring a generously sized walk-in shower with three shower heads – a luxurious touch that added to the overall comfort. The attention to detail extended to the complimentary set of incredibly soft robes, each adorned with the hotel's embroidered name. The bed was a haven of comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The room's nautical theme, from a captivating sandalwood octopus sculpture to a pair of binoculars perfectly positioned near the great balcony, created an atmosphere of coastal charm. The exceptional service at the Anderson Inn further elevated the experience. Upon our late arrival at 8 pm, the front desk attendant warmly greeted us, assisted with our luggage, and personally escorted us to our room on the 2nd story. Her genuine hospitality continued as she took the time to help us settle in, providing valuable information about both the hotel and the enchanting Morro Bay. In every aspect, the Anderson Inn stands out as a true gem. My wife and I feel fortunate to have discovered this diamond of a hotel, thanks to its wonderful staff and the delightful amenities. A heartfelt thank you to the Anderson Inn for making our stay in Morro Bay truly memorable."

"We stayed here for one right and we were thoroughly impressed! I received a phone call over 4 hours before check in letting us know that the room was ready early and we were welcome to check in at anytime. The young lady at the front desk was very kind, offered us waters and to walk us to our room. Once in the room, we were even more impressed. We stayed in the Sandpiper and had no complaints about anything. The room was clean, looked as though it had been recently updated, and had an excellent view (even though it was a foggy day, which is not their fault). Thank you, Anderson Inn, for making our experience an excellent one!"
