Inn at Morro Bay

"I went w/my doggies, and just needed some peace, relaxation, self care. I highly recommend this place. The views are breathtaking, it’s truly an amazing place. Wish I was there now! There restaurant/bar has breath taking views!"

"Great happy hour from 3 to 5. Best restaurant view of the bay. Shore birds abound, otters float and dive, the sandspit hugs the side of the bay, ships moored in the changing tides, and all focus on the massive pyramid of rock rising at the harbor entrance. The food is tasty and the service is friendly. But, don't go. I don't want to deal with a big crowd. JK"

"We enjoyed our stay here with our two dogs. The service was really wonderful and the room was clean and chic. We stayed in the deluxe partial bay view room. My only feedback would be that I personally did not find the bed that comfortable, but my partner did not mind it. Also, there was not a fan or A/C in the room- however the room did not get hot at all!But if you enjoy a fan at night, bring one. We called the front desk and they brought one to our room which was sooo sweet ❤️ I thought this place and the staff were really lovely and we would definitely stay here again! Plus, there are hiking trails right behind the Inn which are stunning and filled with wildlife viewing vistas."

"Absolutely beautiful location with really friendly and helpful staff! The room did not have AC which was a little difficult, even though it was winter time. And just a few other things in the room need to be kept up better before they fall apart. Aside from that, it is such a quaint place to stay, with a pool and hot tub! It’s a nice walk to downtown (about 30 minutes) and the view from the bay side rooms is gorgeous!! The staff was very friendly, and they had complementary lemon cucumber water in the lobby!"

"The rooms were updated in the last few years but seem a little worn. The grounds are nice but some areas are really run down like the stairs (carpeting coming up). A good power washing on balconies would be good. And the slider door could barely be opened. Happy hour was nice but table was very sticky. Overall nice experience but not sure I would come back."
